So like.. Since people seem to be splooshing over Prime World and Fez and such, sounds like I should give one of them away!
So, MS PAINT TIME.
Send me your bootiful MS paint art of... Hmm....
'The coolest dolphin ever'
Being related to the game you want in some fashion will get Bonus Points. Do indicate whether you want Fez or Prime World because even if you think the picture is clear, I am often dense.
Edit: By send I mean PM of course. Just in case that wasn't clear. Usual rules apply. Etc, etc.
Not strictly Steam related, but Total War: Rome 2 has a release date of 3rd of September and I am full of excite, even if it is only May. Saints row 4, GTAV, EU4 and TW:R2 are gonna make the best couple of months ever.
I now have a deadline for acquiring my new GPU!
Though that is poor timing. The exact day (I think) that I start my new college semester.

With you on that. It's around that time that I really ought to be making a start on my final-year dissertation. Shame it's Psychology and not History, eh?

Rome 2 was on that list of upcoming AMD promos....But wouldn't it make sense to see the benchmarks first anyway?
Banzai5150 wants me to break the law so he sends me NFS Hot Pursuit. Thanks, classhole
You now can add me as a Friend on the game so I can give you a ticket! Or try to give you one!

I've been playing CS:GO a lot lately. I started out doing pretty well, and then get creamed after my 6th competitive match. I abandoned a competitive match and am now barred for a week from competitive play...
Well, there's more than one way to make a student study.
A heads up for NFS mp interested: The armadeaddon steamgroup (Which is the PA L4D group) has mass bought / installed it, we just had a few hours at 6-8 players
Dishonored - 15 bucks
Skyrim -15
Fallout New Vegas Ultimate - 10
Rage The Scorchers DLC - 2.50 (mentioned mainly because it hasn't seen much sales).
Used elder-geek.com to save 5 more percent
This those are the best prices yet on Skyrim and Dishonored outside of strange deals at finnish websites. I think New Vegas Ultimate's been around that price before but not too often. Games are all Steamworks. Not sure how long the sale is, they don't have it actually announced, they're just discounted. Guessing a Weekend Sale.
They're slightly cheaper on the UK site after the exchange rate, Skyrim and Dis become roughly 12 bucks, for instance. And Gamersgate has never really cared in the past what version of the site people use, your account even works on them all. Fallout is more expensive though, so use US site for that
And of course, Gamersgate can't bother to put the Dragonborn DLC on sale. At least not at the time of writing this.
I "missed" GMG's 30 seconds worth of a sale on Dragonborn last week since they ran out of keys immediately, only to never get any back. That's a normal thing for GMG though, so I'm not really upset. You have to jump on their sales early in a lot of cases.
I guess I'll give it another look in a few hours and see if it just hasn't updated yet. Snagging that and the new Dishonored DLC would be a good haul.
Somehow Aquaria and Skyrim met, fell in love and had a baby. It was beautiful. An open-world RPG with oodles of depth (ha, geddit? ahem) in a mahoosive, stunning underwater setting. Swimmin' and explorin' and questin' and lootin' (and playing dress up) and all that jazz. And Steam in all their wisdom had just Greenlit it like a boss. DREAM GAME INCOMING.

Trials Evolution PC related impressions - The frame rate issues mentioned earlier in this thread are definitely there, and for no apparent reason either as a quick restart (B button on the 360 controller) clears them right up.
Otherwise things look pretty good. I've gotta check the audio settings next time I drop in to see if I can stop my dude going "Ye-heeeah!" every time I go over a big jump, though.
Well, it seems that I'm not going to be purchasing a damn thing on the next sale. Lost my debit card, didn't realize until yesterday because I didn't use it, appears I lost it last week because someone has taken pretty much everything from it in chunks of daily 500 since last friday. I am such a goddamn idiot.
Good thing I have two accounts, but still, that there was my entire scholarship. When I get back home today I'll see what I have in terms of steam-blowing games and spend the entire evening murdering dudes, I think.

You don't have protection on that sort of thing? I used to think it was just for credit cards and that when debit cards got stolen you were shit out of luck. But the dude at my bank said they usually protect against exactly that sort of thing now.
Either way, that fucking sucks, man. Presumably they also got your pin somehow?

cooljammer is right, get onto your bank ASAP if you haven't already. It's in the banks best interest to recoup this, it's their money as much as yours and they want to keep you as a customer etc.
I made it through Prime World: Defenders. That's the first time I've completed a game before it's been officially released. I definitely think that the game needs some balancing to move it away from being a grind, but the actual tower defense portions are more than fun enough. I'm apparently #60 on the leaderboard list for the game ATM; I confess that I've gone back to old levels with new towers to see what I can just blow up easy-mode.
If I have any advice for anyone in that game, it's Dragon Towers and Rain of Fire. Just max out those two cards ASAP. Towards the end of the game you should probably get mortars, they're OK, but Dragon Towers are serious business.
Civics is not a consumer product that you can ignore because you don’t like the options presented.
I have no idea. What I do know is that my Dragon Towers hit air and land, do 823 damage on hit plus 237.6 damage from the DOT without being upgraded. After upgrades, it's 3293 damage and 712.8 damage from the DOT. I don't know how much damage the knockdown towers are doing for you, but the range, versatility and damage of the Dragon Towers has dragged my sorry ass through the back half of the game.

Do dragon towers start hitting air after upgrades or something?

It is fun!
It is also chaotic. And hard.
There aren't quite words for just how bad at it I am right now. :P

British Bethesda Sale
I think I'll have to pass on it
already bought Borderlands 2 in that great sale there a few days ago and I really shouldn't be spending money
or playing video games at the moment for that matter

Now it wont let me do it.
So no give away for you guys :P
Guess I'll go buy more games for my own backlog.

Haven't seen it since in fifteen hours play.
I did get Meteor yesterday, though. That's been a good one to keep handy.

Do dragon towers start hitting air after upgrades or something?
I was pretty sure mine were ground only.
