    Ok. Did the tutorials, that helped...very little.

    Did the first super fast single player "campaign" that helped...maybe a bit more.

    My biggest thing is how do you figure out what each of the unit icons means? I'm having a hard time at a glance figuring out which icon is which, and in some cases, what that unit is really supposed to do.

    you can go to the "interface" panel in options and turn off the "merge" option (or whatever it's called), that way all unit labels will stay discrete (instead of sticking together into one big bar), and it will say the actual name of the unit instead of just its picture.

    It still might take awhile before you can tell exactly what a "kpzT72 M1" or a "AufklFz UAZ KPV" is, though

    I don't really see the point of that merging function, it just makes it harder to tell where everything actually is

    Oh @Farangu, we can hook up for games this weekend. I've been ill and feverish so games have been a bit icky for me. Shamefully I have been watching e3 vids. PA vent's bro.

    Weekends unfortunately don't work super well, as I work for all of them. We'll figure something out.

    In terms of NATO or PACT, I'm looking at PACT right now, spent some time in the deck editor just looking at all the different units.

    Cool, I tend to Pact as well because of the initial exaction to: Wow what are all these units, Pols and the CZ had armies with their own stuff. It's easy to see why they "lost" the cold war they spent so much on military tech and engineering.

    So I got this working and I won the infantry tutorial by doomdropping like 20 Humvees full of infantry in their city.

    I don't think that's how I was supposed to do that.

    you'd be surprised how far 20 carloads of rifles will get you in certain tactical situations
