Hi,
I'm throwing my wife an Animal Crossing themed birthday party (she loves AC). Any ideas on things I could do for it?
Thanks!

Dig a pitfall in your back yard?
Hahaha please don't do this to your wife. That would be awful.
In all seriousness, let's see... the first thing that comes to mind at the moment is seeing if you can put some sort of lightweight present in a box like in the game and tie it to a floating balloon? Bonus points for getting her to shoot it down somehow! Hmmm... I guess playing off the joke idea about the pitfall, you could bury one or more of her gifts somewhere and mark it like they do in the game, then get her to dig it up. Hide presents in the trees, too. Maybe see if you can put the leaf symbol on the front of any gifts? Like, make a bunch of them and stick them on everybody's gift with tape as they arrive? Oh yeah, and tell everybody that rather than cards, they should write their birthday wishes on interesting stationery... Get some coins, put them in a brown bag, tie it with a red ribbon and draw a star on it... Oh man, I could probably do this all day because I've played way too much Animal Crossing. :P Well, that's a start at least!
I really like the leaf and balloon idea. I'd imagine that could be done pretty easily too. I was also thinking of getting the local bakery to make her a cake with either Nook or one of her favorite Animals on it. Someone at my work suggested making paper mache crafts for it, but I don't know how hard this would be and how I could pull it off without her knowing about it. Another silly idea I had was having background music of all of K.K.'s songs playing.
