Didn't see it in the OP, so I'll mention it here. M. Night Shyamalan's next movie looks pretty interesting. Yeah Lady in the Water sucked, but maybe he'll go back to being good.

The movie is called The Happening.
The premise of the film is about a large-scale, cataclysmic environmental crisis that turns into a struggle by mankind to overcome nature. Imagine if nature was sick of our polluting ways and decided to restore Earth's natural balance by wiping us out. Imagine if we were powerless to do anything about it.

Plants starting emitting airborne neurotoxins that cause people to kill themselves. It gets pretty graphic if the script stays the same.

Here's a script review

Mark Wahlberg just got announced as being the main character

The studio has carved out plans to release the film worldwide on Friday, June 13, 2008.

no it is not also a leg, it is just a gun

you cannot walk on a gun

a gun is not a leg

I mean even a peg leg has more stability than a gun

    and really

    why the leg

you couldn't have put it on your arm

Just like to point out that I could only find 13 movies in that list that werent sequels, remakes or adaptations of comics, books, manga or video games. And several of them sound really bad... :(

    10,000 B.C.:
Director Roland Emmerich ("Independence Day") has wrapped on this pre-historic epic that follows a young mammoth hunter's journey through uncharted territory to secure the future of his tribe. Starring Camilla Belle ("When a Stranger Calls") and Steven Strait ("Sky High"). Expected release date: December 14, 2007.

    Chassis:
This film is best described as a "Days of Thunder" meets "Star Wars" pod-racing culture. Several members of the visual effects team from "Star Wars: Episode III" are on board for this highly anticipated film.

    Fanboys:
This dramady is about 4 friends who at the wish of a dying friend travel across country to George Lucas' Skywalker Ranch to see "Star Wars: Episode One - The Phantom Menace". The film stars Kristen Bell ("Veronica Mars") and Sam Huntington ("Superman Returns") with director Kyle Newman.

    Game Boys:
This fun film from the minds at Walt Disney Pictures is about two 30-something gamers who are recruited by the government to battle aliens who have come to life from a video game. Jerry Bruckheimer ("Pirates of the Caribbean") is slated to produce this film.

    Grindhouse:
This two part horror flick (2 - 60 minute films in one) from writer/directors Robert Rodriguez and Quentin Tarantino. The film stars Kurt Russell, Rosario Dawson , Rose McGowan and horror legend Tom Savini. Expected release date: April 6, 2007

    I Am Legend:
Robert Neville is the last man alive. He busies himself with preparing for a nightly attack from the rest of the world - all of which have transformed into blood-thirsty vampires. Will Smith stars and Francis Lawrence directs the script by Akiva Goldsman. Targeted release date: November 21, 2007.

    The Invisible:
Two young teens' real selves are invisible to others, one due to his untimely death and the other due to the neglect she's endured since the death of her mother. David Goyer ("Blade: Trinity") directs, this film is set for release on January 26, 2007.

    Magdalena:
This film will follow a woman named Patience who discovers that she is descended from a long line of female warriors who trace thier origin to Mary Magdalene.

    The Messengers:
An ominous darkness invades a seemingly serene sunflower farm in North Dakota, and the Solomon family is torn apart by suspicion, mayhem and murder. This high intensity film stars Dylan McDermott and Penelope Anne Miller. Set for release February 2, 2007.

    The Reaping:
Thousands of years ago there was a series of bizarre occurrences that many believed to have been the Ten Biblical Plagues. No one thought they could happen again. Until now. This super-natural thriller is set to star Hilary Swank as a world-renowned expert in disproving religious phenomena who comes across a Louisana town suffering from inexplicable Biblical plagues. Set for release on March 30, 2007.

    Spy Hunter:
Former F-15 pilot Alex Decker is recruited to become a member of a government agency called International Espionage Services (IES), specifically joining an elite group called the Spy Hunters. Piloting an experimental battle-car, the G-6155 Interceptor, with all varieties of weapons and gimmicks (including the ability to transform into a speed boat or a super-fast motorcycle), Sects and his fellow Spy Hunters are given the assignment of defeating Daemon Curry, the evil president of a cartel called NOSTRA International, which has plans of world domination. Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson is rumored to be starring. Possible 2007 release.

    What, no The Dark Knight?

    Also:
    Deadman:
Based on the DC comic about a murdered circus acrobat who is granted the power to possess living people while in seach of his killer. Guillermo del Toro is attached as the writer and director and Don Murphy is producing.
    The Flash:
