the main problem is that this would involve transporting a 2.2 metre rigid tube from my town to Narita airport, along with my other baggage, via two trains and a long-ish walk within a busy Tokyo station

Unfortunately for me, it also looks like the type of game I have no interest in. But man, some of you guys are going to have a blast with it.

Which is a little odd, because to me it is more a case of the French making some horrible strategic decisions than anything else.
In other news, interesting! For Titanfall you will be playing with and against other humans, but in every match there will always be AI grunts and whatnot. But the AI controlled units are strictly not intended to be on the level of an actual player, they are more cinematic fodder and support. For example, there is a pistol that can lock on and shoot homing bullets. Against a player it is simply more accurate, homes some, etc. Against AI fodder it locks on to their head, can lock onto multiple heads at once, a drop a group of them in a single burst.
