Titanfall is a new game from Respawn Entertainment. In it you play as Pilots who can either fight on foot using their mobility to wall-run and around large maps, or who can call down a giant battle mech called a Titan to climb in and smash. Releases March 11th on Xbox One and PC, March 25th on Xbox 360

Looks fun to me! I'll pick this up on PC.
I completely missed the cannon fodder enemies! I love the idea in a lot of games. Adding even a little bit of virtual population to game can go along way to characterizing the game world.
All in all, this game seems to be doing a lot of things well. Definitely the game I'm most excited for from E3.
Second, I'm also glad this doesn't look like anything my current PC won't be able to handle quite easily, which makes me very happy since the other option is the Xbone. Which, at this point, doesn't even really count as an option.
Awesome move with the cannon-fodder, too. At first I thought the opposition was all bots because of that, but having cannon fodder mixed in with the "real" enemies is a fantastic move. That will be a huge help for helping the battlefield feel populated without overloading servers, not to mention allowing games to scale to different numbers of players much more easily. If your side is shorthanded, all the game has to do is hand you an extra group or two of free soldiers to help balance things out if people are dropping in and out.
I would hope so considering it's a Source-ass Source engine game. Unless they juiced up the damn thing to the moon, anyway.
This looks like fun - I like the wallrunning / jet pack stuff. I don't know how much fun it will be to run around on the battlefield with Titans killing the shit out of people but we'll have to see.
so you know, probably not gonna be super demanding or anything.
MW2 was my favorite MW and it looks like all the talented IW left to make this game after the little spat with Activision.
Probably won't be able to play it on release though but it looks like good fun.
This just goes to show that Valve fucking owns face when it comes to... faces. Lady's face and dude's face totally do not sync with their voices or emote the way Alyx or Kleiner's faces do.
Then, suddenly, exclusivity.
If that's not fact the reasoning would at least make sense.
I think it looks damn good for Source, and it should run smooth as hell.
Awesome.
Same
Or something.
Given the moneyhatting that Microsoft already did to try and quash as many publishers as possible from admitting their stuff was entirely multiplatform and not console-exclusive to the Xbone, yeah, that may very well be something significant to point out. Considering the DRM shenanigans EA has decided to start trying and Microsoft trying to push their awful DRM agenda, I wouldn't be surprised at all if Microsoft threw some money at EA to get them to expressly forbid any mention of the game ending up on the PS4 at any specific time.
It could also just be a statement that Titanfall will be out on the Xbone in 2013. :P
I think I've seen that episode.
And now they've just given EVERYONE those things, which is awesome because not a single game can not be improved by giant robots and/or jetpacks.
God I really really hope Microsoft doesn't try to pull some kind of "only supported on windows 8" bullshit.
Will it require Windows 8?! Maybe. Will it require Origin? As an EA published title. yeah.
But I'd still rather get Windows 8 than an Xbone.
Like, I've not brought any games on it aside from ME3 but really it kinda functioned most of the time.
Could be worse, could be games for windows live which tends not to work and then their support line starts asking you about your console.
It wouldn't be as bad as trying to play, say, tribes with a controller, but high speed plus controller is a bad combo IMO.
To be honest, I take gamepad/console controls nine times out of ten for sheer comfort factor. Having marginally more difficult headshots matters infinitely less to me than being able to sit back instead of being hunched over KBAM.
I'll still end up on KBAM because I'll be getting this on PC, but that's only because gamepads definitely lose out when placed directly against KBAM (and only because aim ends up mattering more for twitch shooters than moving) and PA play tends to demand some fairly high-level competition. When everybody has the same controls, it's still the best players on top, regardless of KBAM or gamepad.
And I'd really REALLY hate to have to deal with Origin bullshit for Titanfall, but I can deal with Origin a lot more easily than I would having to get Windows 8 (ugh, I really hope that doesn't happen). I don't even hate Windows 8, I just don't want to have to spend the money on an OS upgrade for a game my system can readily handle.
Aegeri: Oh man Heavy Gear that takes me back! If I can customize my titan to be able to convert into a tread mode I would be one happy dude.
this game has timed exclusive written all over it but i dont think i can wait... i might have to get a 360 to play this because im leaning towards a ps4 at this point in time...
or... dare i say... get into PC GAMING?!?!?! ugh... just the thought scares the shit out of me...
Adam Sesslar did an interview with someone from Respawn and they had AMAZING clips of new never before seen footage

Don't think it is coming to 360.
Nevermind. Girl just said it's on 360, too.
That girl is pretty terrible at being interviewed. Game footage looks nice though.
edit: also, that lady seemed pretty excited about the game and I like seeing that sort of enthusiasm in an interviewee.
WELP, guess you can sign my ass up. I'll be PCing the fuck out of this.
It reminds me so much of a modern Battlefield 2142, at least in the setting and aesthetics.
You and me, TOG. We'll fuck some shit up on the PC.
