Yawning/sighing repeatedly (struggling)
Ok, for the past...maybe 1-2 weeks I have had this problem. I was perfectly fine before this started. What is it?
I am having this weird "urge" or "need" to yawn or sigh repeatedly. I mean a really heavy, deep yawn/sigh too. It seem like it is sort of forced, both the inhalation and exhalation. I also have to contort myself in order to perform this action as well, like usually push down against an armrest or something to left myself up to perform the deep yawn/sigh. If I have this urge and I fail to do this (either I choose not to or I fail to do it) I often will feel as though I am getting lightheaded and need to do the action even more so. I have also been having trouble getting to sleep due to this as well. Before this I had been able to get in bed and fall asleep damn near instantly and stay asleep the entire night. Since the onset of whatever this is I have been having trouble falling asleep. I keep having this urge even when laying down and so it keeps me awake longer than usual. When I do finally fall asleep I do manage to stay asleep the whole night, but just getting there is a pain. I just took my heart rate and it is 72 bpm, and I have been told I have higher blood pressure (thanks to my family). These symptoms will come and go throughout the day. I will sometimes not need to take this deep yawn/sigh for a while without thinking about it, though other times I will have to constantly do so (as is the case when I am typing this out).
I am really wanting to find out/fix whatever the hell this is, seeing as how my chest does hurt a bit if I hold in the deep yawn/sigh for too long. Any help/advice is appreciated aside from the "go see a doctor" thing. I am aware of that, but I have had this in the past too and the doctors were unable to find anything. The did a blood workup, a ECG, and several hundred dollars worth of other damn tests that didn't show a damn thing (waste of money).

Is there anything that has increased the stress in your life in the last couple of weeks?
Changing your mattress can help as well. I no longer needed my mouth guard after getting a Tempurpedic which allowed me to sleep in a better position than I could get comfortable with on a spring mattress.
