Sitting here at work, I just recieved a bulk e-mail from my personal Yahoo account. The IT guy (and my cousin, so he recieved an e-mail too) advised me to change my password on my account. Problem is, I haven't accessed Yahoo on anything by my iPhone for years now... By "logging in on an unknown device" Yahoo wants me to answer a security question. The question I chose is a very easy answer, but its from 2009 and every permutation of the correct answer I try is wrong. I don't know what the hell I decided to put as the answer, but now my account is locked for 12 hrs due to too many failed attempts.
I guess my question is:
Does anyone know what I can do to access my account so I can change the password? Every "help" option wants me to answer that question. I'm guessing my only options are to contact Yahoo support or make a new account?
