Games for Kids Resources

My son is about 2.5 years old, and I want to start looking for games (video, board, etc.) that he and I can enjoy together. I know 2 is a bit young for most games, but does anyone have a suggestion for websites geared towards finding good age-appropriate games for now and the future?

Thanks!

I don't really play video games with my kids (5 and 3). Starfall.com is pretty good, having educational games oriented towards letters, phonics, reading, math, colors, shapes, etc. and they have to learn to mouse to use it. There are many iPad games of an educational nature, but you'll have to play with him or watch him lay to see if any one is particularly good. These I let him play mainly when I cannot play with him, he doesn't want to play with toys, and he's nt permitted to watch TV.

For board games at that age I would go very simple as he probably needs to learn ow to take turns, play by the rules, and understand that it's OK if he doesn't win. I think at that age my eldest was learning how to pay HiHo Cherry-O, moving on to other traditional board games like candyland and Sorry.

I used to (and still do) play legos/duplos and puzzles a lot more than games with them.
