EBgames Canada has a really good trade in deal for the PS3 now.
Trade in 10 games worth $8 or more and they will take $260 off the PS3.
Trade in a previous gen console and the will take off another $100

I saw this in store just yesterday. I'm sure some people will appreciate it, but that is a HUGE amount of games to me. I only keep what I love, and I try my best to only buy games I'll keep

I urge people to not do this. PS3 will drop in price eventually, your current gen consoles are probably not going to drop in value any more than what they are at now for a long time.

Just be patient if you want a PS3.

The key thing to note here is: 10 games worth 8$ or more. As far as I know a lot of titles are worth less than that. 8$ or more means somewhat recent, good games that are possibly hard to find.

It sounds like a good deal on paper but in reality it's more like "Give us all your good games from the last 2 years."

Exactly, stores are very stingy with the amount they will buy games back for (Even new-newish games for which there is a huge demand)

I was going to say that trading in a PSTwo or a Gamecube in for $100 credit wouldn't be too bad, since you can get either one for less than $100, but then I read the details, and you have to trade in a number of games with either system to get the $100 off.

It seems that there is no good about this deal at all.
