I've had this fantastic game for the GameCube now for what is fast approaching eight months. I've damn near completed all of it. Remarkably, my sister started to play it too, so as a "Hey, I'm not the shitty brother you think I am" present I bought her the PS2 version, which has noticeable framerate differences during the cutscenes (i.e. it's worse than the Cube version, narf).
Out of curiosity, I decided to "borrow" my sister's PS2 copy and try it online. Despite the fact that there are a fair few arseholes in the PS2 Online World in comparison to the number of arseholes on Xbox Live, it's a fairly enjoyable experience. However the problem I have is that I never play the same person twice (with the exception of someone who's name is something along the lines of "Booooob Dooooole", who so far as I have been able to tell never turns the game off).
So, TL;DR, does anyone else play Future Perfect online on their PS2? I'm expecting a lot of negative responses here, but I felt it was worth asking.
Edit: [GAME ON] Added, even though it's not really a [GAME ON], but then it could be. I'unno.
I play the Cube version. You're talking a fairly old but awesome game here... Best suggestion I could make here is to change the title of your thread to include:
On a related note, which TimeSplitters game on GC is considered the best? I think I read that there are others before that, are they necessary to understand what's happening? And is it worth getting both the GC games (I think there are two).

I would say Future Perfect is the best with 2 coming a very close second.
You don't need to have played the previous games as the story in the first two iterations was prertty barebones. Saying that, there are a few references that you wouldn't get if you hadn't played the others although nothing serious, just a few in jokes.
I just love this game. I play it at my friend's house just about every time I'm over there, and it's always great. 8 man deathmatch with Injectors and bricks as starting weapons is just about the best thing ever.

Agreed - Future Perfect followed by TS2. The original TS was a PS2-exclusive, and so far as I can tell it's rather pants in comparison.
Edit: For those of you who play TS:FP online on the PS2, my handle is RealVG. Feel free to add me to your Friends List.

That said, TS3 is really a good game.
