Sam Rockwell wants Hammer to come back in an Avengers film, but he's apparently willing to reprise him in SHIELD instead

This would be amaziiiing.
Bit part in an episode where he's desperately trying to sell some of his tech to SHIELD, but he's just carrying it in a suitcase like a door-to-door salesman. And as he's demonstrating how to use his stuff, he's really obviously smearing fake tanner onto screens and keyboards.
In addition to the high end packaging of Batman Begins, The Dark Knight and The Dark Knight Rises as well as the supplemental features from their existing Blu-ray releases, the Ultimate Collector’s Edition comes with Hot Wheels’ Batmobile, Batpod and Bat vehicles; art cards by Mondo featuring the villains of the trilogy; a hardcover photo book of production stills and behind the scenes images from all three movies; and, most auspiciously, an exclusive video conversation between Nolan and Superman: The Movie director Richard Donner, in which the two discuss their respective superhero films and how Donner’s enduringly popular work informed Nolan’s.
So I watched Man of Steel on Sunday night, some thoughts below:
It wasn't 100% shit.
I honestly didn't weep over the Zod neck snap, it was a shitty ass scene but I was still bewildered by previous events. Let's start from the beginning.
A promising opening but how the hell was the Codex a skull?! aside from that, the Krypton stuff was fun.
I liked the Oil Rig scene and the first few flashbacks. Clark as a wandering hero has a lot of appeal.
Lois was great, Amy Adams did a wonderful job, and I liked how she got established as a truth seeker first and foremost. Jenny felt weirdly out of place.
The fact that Clark was born as a second chance at free will is weird because he is stripped of all agency when he only does what he's told.
When he lets Jon Kent die, that was awful and stupid.
When Jor-El provides him with the costume and mission statement, it felt like they had just stopped caring and needed to hit those Superman points.
The Smallville brawl was a whole lot of fun despite the stupid amount of collateral damage, and I was enjoying myself. Faora is a boss.
Where I lost it was when Superman blows up the Genesis Chamber, though.
Holy shit he's a genocidal psychopath who can smile about wiping out his own race. Augh. Terrifying.
It's a jumble of mixed messages where the actions don't match up to anyone's words. The Supes/Zod tussle was great fun, but the climactic heat vision scene was stupid as hell and way too drawn out.
But holy hell committing genocide on that level was something I did not expect. I tried to give you every chance, but wiping out a room full of babies is a LITTLE FUCKING MUCH!

Its weird how much films this year have focused on taking iconography of hope and spoken of it in a very cynical way.
Except Into Darkness of course.

Nothing against Depp in general, just...bad casting decision.
This is the first I've heard of a horse gag. What's up with that?
Fun fact, they offered Depp the Lone Ranger and he asked to be Tonto instead.

Tumblr blargh
He should have taken the lead.
But that would have required him to play a "straight man" character, and that's probably a little outside his acting range.
