New to Seattle, wondering what people do around here to make friends

Hey, I just moved here from New Jersey about a month ago, so I don't really have a social life. I was wondering, what is a good way to make friends around here? I'm a musician, and I am also a big MTG nerd, so I am hoping there's somebody around here who wants to be my friend. I've been making a lot of work friends, but not a lot of people to hang out with outside of work, and it gets pretty boring walking around by myself. Anybody wanna be my friend? I will buy you a beer or coffee or something. lol

Thanks, k-maps, I'll check that out. Also, I heard about Card Kingdom, and I was there today, it's amazing, compared to my regular card shop in Jersey, but it seemed a bit quiet today, not a lot of people. I saw they run events and stuff so maybe I will swing by during one of those. That was actually part of the reason I posted, cause I want to play MTG and all these boardgames I've never seen before that look really cool but I don't really have anybody to play with yet.
