Ubisoft hacked - received password reset email - legit?

Got a password reset email from email_ubi@emailus.ubi.com

Anyone know if this is legit?

    Is there a link in the email to follow? Don't follow it.
    Go to the ubisoft website and see if they have an announcement up.

    Then reset your password through the official website anyway, because this is almost definitely a scam.

    Just read this article, so it looks like they did get hacked. So, password reset: yes. Follow links from emails you don't know: bad idea.

    The main ubi site is down for maintenance... No announcement I can see

    Yes, it's legit. Ubisoft was hacked and everyone received that sketchy looking e-mail.

    Also note the passwords were encrypted but not hashed. If you shared that password anywhere else, you'll probably need to change it everywhere else.

    If I have exactly 1 uplay game that is also tied to my Steam account which has a different password, do I have to worry about this at all?
