I'm only able to afford to go to Prime, but I needed to reassure folks which this one is...

Northern California Pre-PAX (Prime) Meet-Up!
When?
Saturday, August 24th around 1PMish

What Do I Need To Bring?
Just yourself and money if you wish to purchase food/drinks.
Not necessary to eat there—totally kosher if you just wanna hang for a bit.
Why in Davis?
When the Northern California Pre-Meet Ups first started, it was only the Sacramento area and beyond that showed interest in going. We first did it in Sacramento--that was fun but kind of a fustercluck (*CoughBlainCough*) so the following year, Davis worked better and we just stuck with it that way.
This is in no way exclusive to Sacramento area folks. Bay Area/Sonoma Valley/Silicon Valley are welcomed and so totally embraced in this hootenanny.
What do we there?
Eat food. Can’t go wrong with that, right? We also just talk about anything and everything. Sometimes not even about PAX (both past events and up-coming events) but it’s just a get together for us folks before the craziness happens the following weekend.
Do I need to sign up?
Nah. It’s just a casual thing. Come if you want and we will go yay. Don’t come and we will go boo and poke fun at you for a few minutes before moving on.
How long do we stay?
We usually leave around 3ish? Possibly earlier or later, but you are more than welcome to come and go as you please. We won’t stop you if there are other plans you have made or just making a brief cameo appearance.
Can I make a Bay Area/Sonoma Valley/Silicon Valley version on the same day?
Dude, you can make it anytime you want; even if it does clash with the one in Davis. Hells, someone usually brings a laptop—so maybe a Skype party is in order?
I will be going over to the Round Table the Friday before to confirm with the MoD to inform that there will be geeks/nerds taking over their little party room Saturday afternoon. The room is a first-come-first-served place; but it’s nice to give them a heads-up and they are usually cool with it.

Davis might be a bit of a drive, but I'll certainly check the date to see if it'll work.
I don't live in Davis anymore, but I surely will brave the ~40 minute drive to see the usual crowd and new faces! Hope everyone managed to get passes this year.
