Yo, this game will cause some strife. You got problems with a person, it's gonna come out.

    Fuck off and die.

Looks awesome. Space alert is pretty good as well, but this is clearly more immediate and easier for non-gamers.

Our board game group owns both Escape and Space Alert. Escape is the perfect "game between games", when you've got a couple minutes to spare between finishing one game and another party finishing theirs. It's also a good nightcap game (the last game you play), and a good game to have on hand if you're playing another game with player elimination (so losers can go play something else). Space Alert is meatier, but takes much longer to play and longer to teach. They're similar, but also serve very different purposes in our group.

That being said, there is a portion of our group that is TERRIFIED of Escape and will not play it. Once they saw others playing it, they decided that it was too stressful, and would not give it a shot. I've tried everything to get them to play, but they refuse. So, if you've got a group of friends who play games to do things like "relax" or "cool down," Escape might not be for them? Hopefully I'll be able to convince them to play someday, because they are really missing out.

The different color cardstock for the curses in the expansion are easy enough to fix. Just get a black marker and color the edges of all of the curse cards.

If there's not a Bradley Philips in Connecticut with a mole on his back, I'll eat every tile from a box of Escape.

He might not watch the show, but...

Fuck. I need to start talking to other humans. It's cool to just use people for playing board games, right?

Also, put the curse cards in a bag and draw them like scrabble tiles.

I own Space Alert, and we only tried playing it once. The feeling was that it 'felt like work' sadly. Like a meeting at the office scrambling, arguing and working out logistics and timing of some project or task or something.
