Man, I used to love Sonic games...but is it weird that I prefer Sonic Adventure over the Genesis games? 2 was okay, but it didn't have enough Sonic/Shadow levels compared to the shooting/treasure hunting ones, but parts of it were extraordinary.
I haven't enjoyed a Sonic game since Adventure 2, though...I gave up as soon as Heroes came out.
But yeah it's usually hit or miss, with mostly misses, and those misses are usually the pitcher throwing a knuckle ball that bounces off the plate and snaps in to your crotch.
I assume that the Sonic Cycle was a cultural issue that Sega finally managed to work past after Sonic 2006 completely blew up. They had the idea that Sonic games were supposed to be the best, most serious games ever, and tried to build them around that ideal from the top down instead of building up from gameplay.
I don't know if this is the right place for this, but I wanted to respond to todays news post.
I'm the guy who carved the dice and I wanted to make sure the story was accurate. Any military member can probably tell you that you could just purchase something like this from a shop just about anywhere in theatre. I did not "dig up" a good sized chunk of Lapis out of the ground, I purchased it from my interpreters brother. After I had helped out his sick little girl he wanted to repay me. I not only was morally obligated to decline any compensation for humanitarian assitance, but bound by regulation as well. I did express an intrest in his jewelry making and such, and asked him to show me how he carved things out of Lapis. He let me borrow his old small grinder and I made the dice in question.
Gabe(Mike) makes it seem very shawshank redemption, but I don't want people thinking I delved into the Mines of Madness to extract mithril with my bare hands to forge a mighty artifact. Just trying to keep it real.

Let's see, you were in a active warzone sculpting highly prized cultural trinkets from semi-precious stone with technology that was discoverd thousands of years ago...
Nope! I'm afraid you are incorrect. That sounds like badassery to me.
I'm happy to report that, starting around the time of Tycho's newspost and keeping the game running during work hours (though not clicking except when I'm on break, obviously), I've just broken 1 million cookies per second.
For those intruiged in losing all their productivity too as it wasn't linked (presumably for your own good) you can find Cookie Clicker here: http://orteil.dashnet.org/cookieclicker/

This sort of thing needs to be grounds for civil lawsuits, on par with linking someone to TvTropes.
But thanks anyways :P

What I'm saying is I get Tycho here.
Hahahaha...
Does this artwork look a little different to anyone else? Still good, but it just looks a little different to me.
The art looks bolder in this one, thicker lines, which I think I prefer slightly.
That's enough time for a real werehog, like Ganon, to take over the world.
Well except for Sonic Colors on the DS. The game looks fine on a console but on a handheld oh my god was that garbage.

Maybe someone who had been deployed in Iraq told him a story about his friend digging up fossilised poop and he mixed the two things up
