Youtube + Chrome = Laggy Playback

I've never had this problem before. All of a sudden, videos on youtube are laggy in chrome. They are buffering just fine, but the playback is stuttering.

I have disabled chrome's Flash and enabled the one I installed, no luck.

I tried enabling GPU acceleration in chrome://flags, no luck.

This is driving me crazy! Videos will play fine in IE.

Anyone have a solution?

    Have you tried uninstalling/reinstalling the plug-in version of Flash? It may have become corrupt. IE uses a different Flash installation than Chrome; IE uses the ActiveX version, Chrome uses Plug-in version.
