- more open world
- looks way prettier than anything Bioware's done yet
- choices matter (so they say)
- for dialog choices that will lead to an action, you can use the UI to get a more detailed description of the paraphrase so you're not picking dialog in the dark
- if you say you'll do one thing, but go do something else instead, it has consequences.
- You can choose your race, and Qunari is one of the choices

I was never really concerned, to be honest.

I loved Origins, DLC and all, and DA2s problems can pretty much all be chalked up to having bullshit deadlines, which doesn't seem to be an issue this time around.

I'm gonna be honest and say that I was. DA2, despite me understanding the reasoning behind it's issues, such as the phenomenally short dev time, I was still rather disappointed with the game on a whole.

That said, I have much more confidence in DA:I and I'm looking forward to playing the game when it's released.

Man oh man is the Elite-Com chestpiece for Bounty Hunters looking dumb with that attachment to the shoulderpad. The Basic-Com chestpiece actually looks better in comparison despite it appearing like something from the Lv1-15 range.

Nah I think the Inq bit with those sorts of shoulders looks better then that.

That on a BH just looks impractical as fuck.

I just don't get some of the endgame-com designs for a BH. The Ultimate-Com looks like some tired old stuff. I get that not all Hunters lore-wise are gonna keep their suits spitshine-polished like Jango Fett but it doesn't look too good when compared to some of the pre-Lv50 Custom-sets.

Yeah, it's hard to tell where the deadlines end, and how much of the thinking like a spartan/awesome buttons was just marketing spin

Well, I thought DA:I looked incredible until about halfway into the demo.

And FUCK THAT. Pre-order canceled. They covered up Varric's chesthair and that is just a no go.

Seriously though, it almost hurt to see the Fall 2014 date at the end I just want it so badly. I got a bit of an Ocarina of Time feeling when they were wandering the overworld and I wanted to just take control and go roaming around myself. I'm going to have a serious debate with myself in the character screen about what race I want to play as - a Qunari lady just sounds so cool!

Are they worth it? The books were pleasant little light reads.

The Mass Effect comics were...not that great overall but a few were cool.
