We have a 500kb in-line image size limit that you guys are increasingly not paying attention to, especially as regards animated gifs. This is making me surly. Please stop making me surly.
In order to provide you with a friendly reminder, violations of this rule will be greeted with a helpful 2-point infraction at no extra charge. Especially egregious violations - the sort where it is obvious to anyone who is not retarded that the image is more than 500kb - will receive a free one-point upgrade to their infraction. That's a 3-point courtesy infraction, absolutely free!
People quoting excessively large images will also receive infractions, ranging from warnings to 2-pointers, depending on how grumpy I am at the moment.
