I have a droid Razr. I like the phone, or I guess I should say the interface - and what I can do with it. I use it to check my e-mails and interact online sometimes; I really like the ability to have a calendar and I like taking pictures. I'm not a huge techno guy so a lot of its functions are lost on me. What I don't like at all is that the battery lasts a grand total of five or six hours when used actively. Also, I don't like having a huge phone. I recognize, that amid the current phone marked a little over four inches isn't bad, but with a case it's just so damn bulky. I'm always afraid of breaking it. My last phone was a flip phone that I could use and abuse. I used to have a Nokia brick before that and I loved that thing to death.
So, I guess, my question is this. I have a verizon contract - if such a phone exists, what phone could I buy that would be similar platform wise - allowing me to do the things I mention, while not being gigantic and having a decent battery life?
Any help is appreciated, and thanks in advance for your advice!
If youre okay with staying with the same size, you could get a new battery for your phone (the one used in the Droid Razr MAXX) which should significantly improve your batterly life.
It also sounds like your battery is draining much too quickly given what youve stated you use it for. Does your phone switch between 3G and 4G frequently?

I have been told the battery is non removable? Could I get them to do that at a verizon store?
I'm not sure if it does or doesn't, as I'm honestly not sure what the difference between 3G and 4G is. If you're going to explain it and how I would check for it, please, as you would to a child.
