i bought stuff for halloween
I often think denim jackets could work, if you pair them with right stuff. You could never, ever, ever wear a denim jacket with jeans, unless maybe the denim jacket is blue and the jeans are not blue.
Steam ID - VeldrinD
now to match the jacket and I'm good
Good looks, an excellent figure, self confidence, and being rich and famous also helps.
those boss shoes he wears
Cause most denim jackets aren't that colour.
Satans..... hints.....
all are the same brand - Simple. Which is supposedly designed for sensitive skin. I don't know if I have sensitive skin but I figured why risk it.
I used to get a lot of spots around my mouth/chin. Now I'm breaking out everywhere, particularly my forehead.
I dunno what to do. If it's a case of finding the right products, man there are just too many to choose from and I am going to end up spending a ton to figure it out.
I'm relieved to know that I'm not the only person who looks up old posts that he half-remembers reading like months/years ago.
Like, this is no joke, I did this recently in one of the romantic failures threads.
"Sandra has a good solid anti-murderer vibe. My skin felt very secure and sufficiently attached to my body when I met her. Also my organs." HAIL SATAN
Simple is actually exactly the same product line I started with when I began to have a routine at all!
I stopped using Simple for two reasons - the moisturiser was pretty crap (in my opinion), and the cleanser contained SLS (which is ironic because I only recently found out that something I *do* use also has SLS in it, but I don't seem to be reacting to it). But it could also be that you could be breaking out because the products aren't strong enough (i.e., cleanser doesn't cleanse as well because it's for sensitive skin) or because they're not the right type for you. The moisturiser in that line of products is really goopy and wet. They may have added a richer moisturiser since then, though.
There are lots to choose from, for sure, and it's definitely intimidating. One thing to do might be to try and suss out your skintype - that does half the job for you. Sensitive? Dry/Oily/Combination? etc
If you're not sure how to figure it out yourself, you can always ask a beauty therapist for their opinion. I have a really simple guide on my blog: http://vivixenne.tumblr.com/post/6342277918/what-i-know-about-my-skin (at the very bottom) ... but it's really just a guide.
From there you can consider how much you want to spend, and we can provide suggestions depending on your price range and skintype!
This is the moisturiser I'm using. I chose it specifically because it is supposed to be okay for oily skin. One I was using before (only occasionally, whenever my skin actually looked dry) was making it feel greasy. I quite like how this one makes my skin feel.
As for the not clean enough thing, that kind of makes sense except surely what I'm doing now must be making my skin cleaner than doing nothing at all?
Edit: okay having actually read that link, I think I have oily or combination skin. My pores are huge, especially on my chin, forehead and either side of my nose. I definitely have drier skin on my jawline and cheeks but not very dry.
there's a lot of hate out there for Cetaphil, which is fair enough since it contains SLS, but it's what I've been using for my sensitive/combination skin
if you don't have sensitive skin you have the option to be a bit more adventurous
great drugstore brands are Yes to Carrots/Tomatoes/Cucumbers and CeraVe and Aveeno, and I know @Usagi swears by the Body Shop's Nutriganics Gel Cleanser
the Dove cleansing bar also gets lots of good reviews
I have another cleanser which I have only used rarely, I'll switch to that for my daily and see if it makes any difference. But it contains SLS like the Simple one so maybe that's a bad idea?
My only requirements when I've picked things before is no alcohol, and ideally designed for oily skin. I don't know what any of the other features or ingredients mean.
my face-skin seems able to tolerate it but my scalp doesn't; any shampoos with SLS will cause it to flake and itch like crazy
if you're not sensitive, though, then you don't have to worry too much
but while it can cause irritation, it's unlikely to cause breakouts, so it may not be the SLS that your skin is unhappy with
what you can do is change out just the cleanser first, to see if that makes a difference... if not, then we can look at the toner or moisturiser
but I do agree that three weeks is plenty of time for your skin to settle down after a change in regime, so there's definitely something your skin is grumpy about
Thanks for your help Viv, you're aces
But Jesus. I do not need your help every step of the way and please stop making such loud comments. I don't think I'll go to that Nordstrom again just to avoid that saleswoman.
Funny you should say that because I've had to stop using Cetaphil
I still love the Nutriganics cleanser, but my go-to of late has been a Basis bar and it's been a life/skin changer
those were some crappy stacy adams madisons they weathered specially for the film
at this point i doubt you could even find them
?
So these shoes can easily be worn with casual attire for day to day use? With jeans is what I mean. I don't really own any dress shoes, but those shoes look super slick and cool.
Did you ask to speak with a floor manager before you left?
No, but it was also because I was shopping with my mother who had already helped her. My mother kept talking about how helpful the woman was (while she was helping me and my mother was sitting outside.) So I thought that she must have done the same thing to my mother and assumed I wanted her to do the same thing.
But when we were leaving the store I asked my mother about it and apparently she didn't do anything like that at all. And the woman never said anything unkind, but I just felt really uncomfortable with myself afterwards. I wanted to go for a jog and go on a diet.
for sure
oxfords and their ilk can definitely work with nice jeans and even a tee
it would depend on the jeans and tee, though. What does your casual attire generally consist of?
