hi, i don't know if this is the right forum to post(i've got here from another post like this "looking for old game")
anyway i'm looking for an oldish pc game or arcade(not sure if it was trough an emulator) or games like that. i remember i was playing the game back in the day when i had a 486(before pentium I) and the game was small enough to fit on a floppy disk or 3-4 FD max. It was a "shoot em up"(not sure in what genre to include it), i was controlling a spaceship, the view was from one side, i could move the ship up and down(mostly this was needed) but also left right, the action was going from left to right always going forward until boss battle.
any specific about the game was that before a mission i could customize the ship with 2 extra cannons(that cost some currency not sure where i got it, some weapons where locked i think) i could chose different type of canons, could use same type for top and bottom slot. the ship was shooting some blue or red laser(looked like raindrops and it was flooding the screen from the ship to the right edge of screen). the laser(standard weapon) could be upgraded if i destroyed some ships/ or pick up an upgrade, had a few levels until max power, and had 2 options red lasers smaller radius of the weapon but stronger in damage, or blue that was going in a cone form the ship like an aoe and less damage.
also about the standard weapon the animation for firing was made of either blue/red laser like rain drops, and they were really flooding the screen one after another, unlike other games where is some space in between shots. also the art style wasn't that pixelated like really old games but more stylish, not 3d though
so i'm looking either for this specific game(for which i have little information) or a similar game for pc/arcade trough emulator/android or the name of the genre, i tried looking for similar games in android market or on the net for pc but i hit only shoot em up that have action from bottom to top screen and the art/style not like the one i described, no upgrades to shit besides in game etc.
PS if i remember anything more i will update. please move the topic if is in the wrong place.

I was trying to remember that game's name too and I accidentally found a review on it. Take a look:
