So there's this movie opening tomorrow
It seems to be
kind of a big deal
Richard Corliss
TIME Magazine
If the film past is dead, Gravity shows us the glory of cinema's future. It thrills on so many levels. And because Cuarón is a movie visionary of the highest order, you truly can't beat the view.
A.O. Scott
New York Times
In a little more than 90 minutes [it] rewrites the rules of cinema as we have known them.
Jocelyn Noveck
Associated Press
As the credits roll, you may find yourself thinking about real space launches you've watched, or watching man walk on the moon, and remembering that feeling of awe at how man ever developed the technology to explore space in the first place.
James Berardinelli
ReelViews
Wow.
Even curmudgeonly old Rex Reed likes it!
As a matter of fact, it's currently sitting at 100% among top critics on Rotten Tomatoes with over 30 reviews, the first film in recent years I can think of to get this type of universal praise.
Here's the part of the OP where I'd usually copy/paste a quick synopsis, but the truth is that the trailers do very little to convey what Gravity is about, and I'd prefer to be kept in the dark before I go in. I did want a place to talk about it after the fact with heavy spoiler tags, though.
Have one of those beautifully shot trailers and let's talk about this film which hits theaters
tomorrow.http://youtu.be/OiTiKOy59o4

cool to hear that it's apparently a good movie too
my dad's practically begging me to take him to that new JFK assassination movie that comes out this weekend though so probably not gonna catch this for at least a week

Rock hard like a 12 year old on a school bus going down a bumpy dirt road.
Then I saw the one thing that could completely demolish my boner.
SANDRA BULLOCK
I did that yesterday
I like her in exactly two movies. Speed and The Net.
Oh, it wasnt the sounds that were bugging me.
It just seemed like every time I saw something for this I was watching an ad for "Screaming and Panicking In Space: The Movie" and it kind of turned me off to it.
I know that isn't what the film is going to be like, but after the first time my reaction to seeing the trailer before whatever movie I was at became "Ugh, I don't want to watch this again."
Uh-oh I accidentally deleted my signature. Uh-oh!!
you seen Demolition Man?
No Demolition Man?
I really really really hope it doesn't turn into

Need some stuff designed or printed? I can help with that.
Wait what would that even mean in this case
like
unexplained, supernatural causes of stuff going bad
Need some stuff designed or printed? I can help with that.
you mean you don't want this movie to feature a
space ghost?
but I feel like universally high praise says it's unlikely
Need some stuff designed or printed? I can help with that.
[edit]
Whoops, posted before I read your post stating that you hate spoilers.
What the hell's wrong with people nowadays
I want to know what happens and don't have the money to see it in theaters
Just seems like you're cheating yourself
Just the director, the cast, and dream heists?
all I know is that I'm going to be very disappointed when the movie turns out not to be just ninety minutes of George Clooney and Sandra Bullock tumbling through space
I forgot Demolition Man!
Steam: Feriluce
Battle.net: Feriluce#1995
Shit
I didn't even think of D-Box
Now I know there's no other option
EDIT: MotherFUCKER, the only D-Box in the area is showing the racing movie with Thor
Aliens save her and she goes on an intergalactic journey of fun and adventure. The falling part is like 5 minutes tops.
so i will be seeing this as soon as i can
I'm glad to hear this
Because my only reservation about the film is all the positive reviews I've seen comparing it to 2001
And 2001 is the polar opposite of a movie that is too exciting
