I woke up yesterday wit a slight sharp pain in my side. It's right above my lower left hip, left of my belly button. I hurts when I laugh or cough. If I press pretty hard on it, it hurts but not much reaction just from rubbing. It also feels like something is swollen as it is created a sort of nagging sensation.
Anyon have any idea what this could be? If it's any help, it appeared after a night of drinking.
no you cannot have a sig that size. especially with compression that crappy.
as stated this could be apendicideds. in that case, what the holy jesus blue are you doing on the forums when you should be consulting the doctor. it could also be a Hernia, or intestinal blockage
the Appendix is on the right side, as Cat said. So unless you have some kind of fucked up physiology, it probably isn't that. Maybe it's a hernia, or perhaps your kidney (again as Cat suggested). If the pain persists you should probably see a doctor.

While the appendix is on the right side, appendicitis pain first manifests itself somewhere around the center of the stomach and then progresses towards the right side. Not sure how well you're pin-pointing the pain, but if it's more centric than left, this is in fact a possibility.
Aside from the other things mentioned it could also be some kind of intestinal/stomach inflammation, gas pressure, etc. If the pain persists or you start to feel it on the right side of your body, see a doctor immediately.

you're probably dehydrated and its sign that you should stop fucking your kidneys around. Drink some water.
And the appendix is on the other side
Cancer is a funny answer, but damn it's never out of the question. If you can go to the doctor, go. If not, drink water and see what happens.
