here are some songs from Waxahatchee, she is good
most of her stuff is pretty sparse, usually based around a simple clean guitar chord progression with the lyrics and her voice as the focal point
BUT she can also slam on the distortion for some louder fuzzier stuff. It's actually my favorite mode of hers, but it's less prevalent

Right now, I'm enjoying the Garafono Rosso soundtrack by Banco del Mutuo Sorcosso. There's ace synth work and the piano and guitar play complex but moving themes that reoccur more than once. It's kind of like a symphony.
That martial folk sing-a-long is hella catchy! I dig it.
Now, all I can do is listen to Lou Reed. Recent events have made this beautiful song tragic to hear. RIP, my musical buddy
