[solved]Help 360 drive mounts no data shown

So I turn on my original style 360 with a 250 GB drive. Loads to dashboard but doesn't sign in, no profiles detected, no wallpaper. Go to devices and the drive shows with 44GB remaining but all the folders show 0KB, try clearing system cache to no avail. Hook up my old 20 which works no issue.
Like an IDIOT I have recently re-activated gold and forgot to enable cloud to backup so all my save data is on the 250. If I can get a transfer cable and connect it to the computer would I have a shot at using data recovery software? If not do you have any other ideas?
Got the drive connected to my computer and some program I can't remember the name of found a corrupted content folder called ?ntent with all my saves intact! Can be locked.
