Maps
Call of Duty: Ghosts will feature 14 Multiplayer Maps out of the box. Four DLC Map Packs are also planned throughout the life of the game, but not much information has been released.
Chasm
Large map with an underground tube station.
Free Fall (Pre-Order Bonus)
Free Fall takes place in a shattered skyscraper on the brink of collapse; close-quarters combat is plentiful as the map dynamically changes. The skyscraper continues to fall throughout the match, which changes paths and chokepoints - players need to react fast to the changes.
Octane
This Las Vegas based map is medium sized and features a gas station that can be destroyed, unknown if Drunk Mercy will be a terrain altering attack
Strikezone
A medium sized map that takes place inside a stadium that features a mix of indoor and outdoor combat. Players that complete a field order can earn the "Odin Strike", which kills the enemy team and completely transforms the map.
Whiteout
Takes place in a fishing village during winter time.
Stonehaven
Takes place in a European castle? You can open an close a gate
Game Types
Blitz
Blitz Mode is a new Call of Duty: ghosts Multiplayer variant. Similar to Capture the Flag, Blitz Mode substitutes proximity for retrieval. Enemy zones include certain goal area. Touching the opponent's goal scores a point and begins a cool-down period, after which a goal may be touched again by teammates. Thus, teams may linger in hostile territory, scoring points again and again so long as they can hold territory around a goal. Once you score a point on the enemies goal you will be teleported back to your own goal with you once again having to run the full length to reach the enemies goal.
Cranked
A new type of TDM gamemode that will be appearing for the first time in Call of Duty: Ghost. When you get a kill, you gain new abilities such as faster movement, reload, and the time it takes to aim down sites. Along with this first kill you also start a new 30 second count-down. Rack up the next kill before the timer hits zero, or you’ll explode. In this mode, players not only end up competing against the competition, but also against the clock.
Domination
Classic domination returns, two teams face off for control of three points on the map. The more points you control the more points you score each second, unless you hold all three then you must be Mechanical and you flipped the fucking spawns again
Free-for-All
No teams, just 8 people against each other hiding in corners till someone hits 30 kills
Grind
No info available
Hunted
No info available
Infected
No info available
Kill Confirmed
Two teams face off, when a player is killed they drop a "Dogtag" picking up a "tag" from a enemy that was killed gives your team +1 while picking up a "tag" from a teammate who was killed prevents the other team from scoring a point
Search and Destroy
It's counterstrike but don't worry you can still get clips for your sick quikskop 'tage
Search & Rescue
A take on Search & Destroy, but rather than having a single life per round, in Search & Rescue your team can revive you. It combines that teamwork and communication from Kill Confirmed with the objective-based cooperation of Search & Destroy.
Team Deathmatch
Team deathmatch puts a team of players against another team of players, no fancy gimmicks just lots of killing till one team hits the goal.
Squads
Squads
Squads is a new game mode in Ghosts. In it, the player can play with AI controlled teammates or even with friends against AI. XP is shared between Multiplayer and Squads, so levelling up in Squads helps your character in Multiplayer as well. There are five modes within Squads:
Squad vs Squad: Involves two opposing players versing 1v1, with squad members filling in the rest of the team, making 6v6.
Wargame: The player and five other squad members verse a team of six opposing bots in a mode set to "replicate" the full MP experience. This mode will be available on every single MP game type.
Safeguard: The player and up to three other players take part in a match based on Survival in Modern Warfare 3, with Perks and Scorestreaks also involved.
Safeguard Infinite: Supposedly similar to Safeguard with no limit to the waves.
Squad Assault: The player and up to five other players or squad members verse a squad consisting of another player's squad. Any XP goes to Multiplayer progress.
Pointstreaks
Assault Strike Package
The Assault set of Pointstreaks is designed to inflict harm on the enemy team, so it is filled with various attacks. The Pointstreaks reset on two conditions, with one being the death of the player. The other involves cycling through all three Pointstreaks that were picked, and they cannot be stacked to where the player is holding onto two of the same Pointstreak for use. Note that any kills acquired through any Pointstreak in this set will contribute to newer ones.
[3 Kills] SAT COM - Ground Deployable UAV
[4 Kills] IMS - Similar to the IBMS of MW3, A multi-shot bouncing betty
[5 Kills] Guard Dog - Calls in "Riley" an attack dog that follows the player around, think the AH6 Overwatch from MW3 but on the ground
[6 Kills] Sentry Gun - Sentry Gun, Same thing as always
[6 Kills] Battle Hind - Calls in an attack helicopter
[7 Kills] Vulture - Similar to the dragonfire
[8 Kills] Gryphon - Like the Vulture (dragonfire) but with explosives
[10 Kills] Maniac - Once obtained from a dropped care package (how it is called in), players will receive a Juggernaut-like armor and a Knife along with a Throwing Knife. The Maniac has unlimited sprint and runs faster than normal Juggernauts, as well as other players.
[10 Kills] Juggernaut - Airdropped in and once picked up the player recieves Juggernaut armor and a minigun
[12 Kills] Helo Pilot - Allows the player to fly a helicopter with miniguns around the map, think gunship only hopefully this time not glitched
Support Strike Package
The Support set of Pointstreaks is designed to help support the player and his team. Note that when you kill an enemy with any Pointstreak in this set, you do not gain points towards newer ones. Also, the Pointstreaks do no reset when the player dies, but only when the player reaches the third Pointstreak they have chosen.
Support
[4 Points] SAT COM - Ground Deployable UAV
[6 Points] Ballistic Vests - Same as MW3, bag of vests that give teammates extra health
[8 Points] Box of Guns - Similar to the Ballistic Vests it is a box that when teammates (or the player) interact with gives guns and ammo
[9 Points] Night Owl - Calls in a small drone that follows the player, while deflecting projectiles and notifing the player about nearby enemies, acting as an mobile Trophy System and Motion Sensor, will aid teammates after your death
[10 Points] MAAWS Launcher - Multi-role Anti-Armor Weapon System, rocket launcher that can be manually guided to targets, rocket divides into two projectiles mid flight.
[12 Points] Ground Jammer - Ground Deployable CUAV (counter uav)
[12 Points] Air Superiority - Calls in an A-10 Thunderbolt II to attack any aircraft on the map (care package choppers included)
[13 Points] Support Squadmate - Calls in an AI Willeth teammate with Riot shield to protect you
[13 Points] Heli Sniper - The player selects an area of the map for a helicopter to hover and the player controls a sniper able to fire at targets, sniper can be taken out without destroying the helicopter
[14 Points] Oracle - Blackbird? Tracks enemy players
[14 Points] Juggernaut Recon Calls in an air dropped Juggernaut armor (with riot shield?)
Specialist Strike Package
Works almost like in Modern Warfare 3 by allowing you to stack perks as your streak increases. The streak and perk rewards reset upon death.
You get to choose 3 perks and they are activated in the order you choose them. To be activated, each selected perk requires the same amount of kills the perk costs + one. For example, Marathon costs 2 points, which means you'll need 3 kills to activate it.
You also get to choose an additional 8 points worth of perks and they are called the "Specialist Bonus". The bonus is activated 2 kills after the 3rd perk (from above) has been activated, meaning you'll need between 8-17 kills, depending on your perk selection.
Field Orders
Field Orders are special assignments (or almost like hidden Pointstreaks), where the players can pick up a blue suitcase should they kill the top player on the enemy team. This will give them a special assignment that if the player succeeds, they will get a Care Package to bring in. The Care Package can contain various rewards, which are powerful, map-altering attacks.
Care Package - General placeholder for other "Field Order" bonus streaks that will be announced.
K.E.M. Strike - Once deployed, a 5 second countdown timer commences and when it reaches zero, all enemy players are killed and the map is changed. Only available on Strikezone.
Satellite Crash - A satellite crashes into the map, changing the layout slightly, jamming the mini-map and the HUD will become translucent. Only available on Whiteout.
Halon Gas - Available on the tank factory. Fills the map with Halon gas obscuring vision (no clue if it can kill enemy players)
Odin Strike - Available on "Strikeout"

Siege has a missile strike that targets the enemy players.

I kinda hope there isn't an operation for that, because that'll probably never happen again.

Love Squads and purchased all the initial 3 point members so I can name them and dress them and change their streak to support (just to get some freakin comms up). Not liking that I need to play "real" multi to unlock customization for my military dolls. I really wish games would do what Rainbow 6 Vegas 2 did (play whatever the fuck you want, everything unlocks eventually)
Also, because of dogs, I named my squad War Dogs with names like Pack Lead, Doxy, Mongrel, Shepard, Dingo, and Ooke Inu (Japanese for 'Big Dog').
EDIT: Also, I don't know what causes it, but on Freight, the cargo doors will shut, closing off those routes through buildings.
I don't think I've seen it spelled out yet, so I thought I would share.
There are a lot of little modifications to the map. Locked fences to bust open, trees to knock over, etc. If you see a red ghost emblem, you can breach that spot, or hit it with an explosion.
Another thing I discovered is that flashes from the Odin Satellite count as 9 Bang flashes.
Those mortars do, like, 5 damage.
Yeah but when players only have like four health it's not such a big deal.
100 unless you are playing stupid mode.
Which I think is 35?
Also, the Piece of Cake achievement (Storm the common room without taking damage - 100 points) is just that, easy, I got it without even noticing it, thought it was going to be the new No Fighting In the War Room.
If not with the explosives themselves, by hunting down enemies who are cowering in buildings.
Still has shit spawns though.
Ahahahahahahahahahahahahaha
I don't know if its a problem on there end or what.
Killed a guy by shooting his IED before it ever left his hand. That would have been my favorite, except the other team got a Juggernaut and were moving him to my team. I met him halfway with my Panzerfaust. I was in party chat at the time, but just my imagining of his response put a smile on my face.

Kill anything and you get instantly leveled to 60 for that class and you will pretty much get endless squad points to where the sound of squad point unlocked will drive you batty. Strange enough today that we seemed to be getting random skill points for just playing the game, but this is going to a stupid level. Kill a guy in cranked thats also a rescue. Get 2 points. Get an assist, get a point, deploy a sat com. Get a point. Literally it just spams the hell out of your feed.

Don't Cross the Streams - Headshot a player using the PMC Heavy (elite?) Uniform while using a LMG [I was using the chainsaw]
Messin with Sasquatch. - Knife a player in a full Gillie suit.
I know I've headshot players while wearing it, so maybe there is more to it.
Nope, done that too. (The M27-IAR is the best of the three LMGs I've used so far.) Unless the headgear also matters, in which case I've been using the PMC TASC option. I don't have any other PMC headgear unlocked.
EDIT: I haven't done most of this with a female character.
Hmm weird cause the round I did it on only flashed about headshotting PMC xxx with a LMG. Might be a combo of armor or maybe something other than the heavy. Tried searching online but can't find anything concrete on the classified patches other than stabbing a wookie with a knife for Messin' with sasquatch.
Maybe it is about what you killed or who you killed it with.
