Looks like Twitch has suspended Playroom streaming because of "Non game related" content. Proabably a good idea since some guy took advantage of his drunk, passed out wife on his stream.
Everyone has a price. Throw enough gold around and someone will risk disintegration.

Well, to be pedantic, in some jurisdictions (even today) a man's wife is essentially his property in many legal respects. Even here in the USA there are places with laws regarding "marital duties" of a wife which make it difficult or impossible to change a legal husband with sexual crimes against his wife. And at least here where I live it is perfectly legal to beat your wife, as long as you do it on the Courthouse steps on Sunday and don't use a stick thicker than your thumb.

I don't understand that. Nobody gets to see my wife naked but her doctor and me.
Wait, so you can just stream your livingroom from a PS4 if you have one? Wow, who thought this was a good idea? What does is "Non-game related content" even mean? Can I talk about games like a podcast aka RoosterTeeth or show a video of me playing Risk at a table with my soon to be ex-friends (Anyone who has played Risk with Friends knows how this often turns out). Are then any contols in place to curb behavour? Like your PSN account/system is perma-banned if you are being a dum-dum online?
This reminds me of PS Home where they thought that VOIP was a good idea.

There's a game called Playroom that works with the camera to play simple AR games. You can stream any game you're playing on your PS4 through Twitch, so that means you can stream Playroom. Cue people being people, and now you can't stream Playroom anymore.

In a normal game streaming session, it just shows your face in a little window, but as the whole conceit of Playroom is that it's an AR-style game with little robots flying round, it basically is broadcasting your living room.
This doesn't happen if you're streaming, for example, Need for Speed.
Ahh, Playroom is a game. It sounded like it was a google hangout kind of thing.
Here a protip: When someone is designing any kind of social media thingy that involves cameras or microphones, they need to replace the words "our users" with "hairless monkeys that like to wear shoes" and see if it's still a good idea.
this strip makes me sad... Tycho looks all mature and old in the first post, and I was all what happened to him, then I looked down and saw apparently I had been redrawn all old and shit too. then I said what happened to me?
This strip is tangentially related to that. It is a strip about people doing inappropriate things with their streaming software on their PS4, and that specific instance is an example of somebody doing something inappropriate with their playstation eye and Twitch.

I think #2 on the list for what you'd see on IRL streams is people pretending to go Super Saiyan, if YouTube is at all accurate.

We are not having any conversation that involves defending spousal rape on any level.
For me at least it's not about defending spousal rape, it's about rubbing salt into the wound. If a video of a man beating his dog is uploaded to the internet within three hours there will be a petition for the president to take personal action against the dog beater on Whitehouse.gov with 20,000 signatures. Yet, were a video of a man beating his wife uploaded to the internet there would be a tempest in a teacup for a day or two, then everyone would forget about it. The fact that Michael Vick is more reviled in many circles than Chris Brown is and fact that where I live a man can be arrested for beating his dog, but not his wife is a travesty. Unfortunately the only way to change something is to get enough people pissed off about the situation. You don't do that by ignoring it or sugar coating it.

I can tell you incontrovertibly that this comic is not about a man raping his wife on stream. I am amazed that this is something I have to clarify.

I am still not sure that I would be able to resist the temptation to say that if I ever had a kid.
