I've got a Logitech MX510 I've been using for the past few years and I'm very happy with it. Perfect ergonomics (for me), extra buttons in all the right places, and it looks pretty sharp too. I'm in no need of an upgrade nor do I want one, but it's starting to show some wear and tear.
The little plastic pads on the bottom of the mouse that keep it glidin smooth have come off. I'm missing 3 of the 5...I'd just superglue them back on but I have no idea what happened to them...never saw any sitting there on the desk. The problem is that the two that remain are at the top half of the mouse so the lower half kind of drags and thus it's not very smooth overall.
I remember reading in PC Gamer's Hard Stuff section a long time ago about some company that sold little patches of teflon that were sticky on one side so your mouse would glide smoother. I'd like to get my hands on these and just replace all of em.
Problem is that it's hard to search for something like this, "mouse teflon pads" just gives me a bunch of mouse pads. "teflon patches" gives me nothing relevant.
Is anyone familiar with this product or something similar? The rest of the mouse is totally fine and it seems very wasteful to get a new one when such a small thing is broken.

I'd look into the steelpad but I'm still in love with the mousepad I got from the Burning Crusade CE box.
