    Langoliers:

    Josh Gordon - 41 points

    Angry:

    Alshon Jeffery - 40 points

How did this happen in this one week for the two people matched up

I had Decker's 44 points on my bench too!

Mmm, delicious vinateri and his 20 kicker points

A trap is for fish: when you've got the fish, you can forget the trap. A snare is for rabbits: when you've got the rabbit, you can forget the snare. Words are for meaning: when you've got the meaning, you can forget the words.

If Washington loses next week and Houston wins, Rams hold the #1 overall pick

Who would the Rams even get with the #1 pick? Is there a star receiver looking anywhere near #1-worthy in the coming draft? I can't imagine they'd try to get another QB, and they have great defensive ends already so it's not like they'd need Clowney.

Bradford can't stay on the field and Klemens has just been valet for the running game

they'd be idiots if they passed on a QB, Bradford is not very good.

    So, that death at Arrowhead:
Police sources tell KCTV5 that a man and his son had gone to their vehicle during the game. When they arrived, they found another man rifling through the vehicle and a fight broke out. The man who apparently did not belong in the vehicle died. Police officials did not say whether the two in custody were the father and his son or not.

that news report is vague as fuck. "There was a scuffle. Someone died."

that is a hell of a scuffle

like I would define a scuffle as "some pushing and maybe a good shove thrown in"

Gordon is also the first player in history to post back-to-back 200-yard receiving games

playing like he's got nothing to lose

Josh Gordon is the truth. Get a real quarterback in Cleveland and he's a perennial pro bowler.

Provided he doesn't fail any more drug tests...

i was about to ask if players wear a box during the game but then i remembered all the footage of players standing on the sidelines in tight white pants. why don't they wear boxes in football? in a game where someone could spear tackle your meat 'n two veg helmet first that seems like a poor decision

most players are afraid of the cup shifting position and ultimately doing more damage

ah yeah thats a good point. other sports i follow that use them are more stationary than football. having it slide an inch to the left before a tackle could definitely make things worse

it's also much harder to run in a cup

I could see linemen wearing them since they don't typically move as far, but you'll never get a rb, wr, cb, lb, or safety into one

this week I was outscored by a team that has two players on injured reserve

I don't think I'll be making a habit of this fantasy football thing

The thing that kills me is the Redskins wanted a measurement. That's what was distracting the head linesman from seeing the down call. He saw the spot, assumed it was a first down, and told them they were good and moved the sticks.

So really, either way play would have had to stop, because the redskins wanted a measurement, and were well within their rights to ask for one.

    you know

tom brady has started every game this season and has 19 tds and 8 interceptions

nick foles has started in 6 games this season and has 19 tds and 0 interceptions. plus 2 rushing touchdowns

I too am surprised that Nick Foles has thrown no interceptions against stellar defenses such as Washington, the Bucs, Giants, and Raiders.

bucs giants and cowboys are all are fine defensively

stop hatin' on elite quarterback nick foles just because joe flacco has passed the torch

This is probably the most important game in the NFC this season. No better time to go for it
