Carefully reading the timing structure shows that the way we played is wrong, though you haven't worded this quite correctly.
1. "Successful Run" effects trigger before accessing. You get gabe credits before accessing cards.
2. However the last opportunity to Jack Out is before the "Successful Run" trigger occurs.
Soooooo, shall we do a rewind or just continue on? I mean there was a 50/50 chance of the game being over there, and I wouldn't have made the run being aware of that timing structure.
