Apparently it's possible to trick your Wii into thinking it's Japanese so you can buy Windjammers from their store, and then you can switch it back to the original region and still play it.

I've always thought it would be a good idea to put out some single player version of WoW after they decide to discontinue it. It wouldn't be the same but at least you could still play it.

seems like making wow single player would be kind of difficult tbh, a lot of mechanics are designed around the core gameplay of tank/healer/dps and they'd have to adapt all the bosses to make single player at all engaging

Well it's more about being a sort of museum that people can wander around in when the servers shut down.

I'd be fine with the gameplay as is, just make the bosses and enemies that require groups killable in a few hits, because who cares. It'd just be cool to preserve a game that massive in scope.

Years ago I had friends who played on a hacked wow server, it was pretty interesting to see.

Double talent points, and there was a built in money exploit so you could have infinite gold.

At the time they were triple teaming the ten man raiding content.
