Manhunt for PC

i picked this up today real cheap because ive heard its pretty good.

but i cant figure out how the fuck to play it. theres no camera control, theres no turning left or right, if i want to turn around i have to stick to a wall, unstick, and hope im facing the right way.

there doesnt seem to be any gamepad support, or am i missing something?

i only spent $4 on it, but i feel like i got ripped off because im just fucking wandering around backwards. its annoying as hell.

    I don't know what you're doing wrong because I can play it just fine with keyboard and mouse.

    the dude only strafes and the camera stays locked on his back.

    i tried remapping the controls, but theres literally not an option for turning, only strafing.

    yeah, he punches.

    googled for similar mouselook problems and the answer seems to be that i need to unplug my gamepad and flight stick. i'll see if it works.

    The FAQ seems to think that just moving your mouse makes you turn, while WASD makes you move.

    It does. It controls just like any other WASD using KB+M game released since the 90's.

    If it's not registering your mouse movements, I'm not sure what's wrong.

    The gamepad/flight stick might be stealing priority for the purpose of turning; I'm eager to see if that ends up being the case.

    So basically your troubleshooting routine goes "post about how the game is broken" and then "take obvious steps which require neither money, nor significant time or effort".
