I looked for a thread on tuners, but came up empty...
I'm preparing to make the jump to Windows Vista, and because of my trusty 360's support for Media Center functions, I'm also preparing to break down and (finally) get cable television. Does anyone out there have a tested solution in the way of USB TV tuners (I would be connecting it to my laptop)? In what research I've done I've found ATI had the ATI TV Wonder (USB), but it seems to have been discontinued:

I imagine Time Warner's cable will provide channels digitally, and some through analog (though someone can correct me if I'm wrong). If I'm also reading up on Vista properly, Vista provides TV listing services, so ideally I'd like a tuner that doesn't force listing software on me, or at least lets me choose to use Vista's.
I'd also, if I'm not being too picky, like a tuner with a remote. Does anyone have experience with Vista's support for remotes. I've never used Media Center, so I'm not sure if the remote relays commands to Vista, or just control's the vendor's software. I'm basically concerned that I'll get a tuner that tries to do everything itself, when all I want is a tuner to relay the cable signal, and a remote to control Vista.
Thanks in advance...
