The Guiding Principles and New Rules document is now in effect.
The earlier conversation about Neo Scavenger as compared to Fallout managed to divert me to modding up Fallout New Vegas for another run. I have successfully gone a day without thinking about buying something, and with any luck I will continue to...
Hey, what's this Banner Saga everyone's talking about? It's in the Industry thread too. Well, no harm in checking it out. How good could it look from just the store page?

I'm not even finished with Banner Saga (one of my favorite games in a long time) and I just bought Blackguards.
The flesh is strong but the willpower is pitiful and weak.
I know just enough about Banner Saga that I know I would want it, but I also know it's too expensive for me. So I will make due with all these other games I have that are like this, such as Skulls of the Shogun, Kings Bounty, and some other stuff people recommended to me.
Playing AssCree 2 right after AssCree was such a good idea, never have I felt so excited to watch a level load.
I can never play AC games back to back, even when I have been backed up and had a couple in my backlog. I always feel the need to step back from them for a few months by the time I finish one before I can even play the multiplayer, let alone the next installment. They just tend to go on for so long that by the time I'm closing in on the end of it I'm just sick of AC, even though I'm still having fun playing the game.
It's really weird, AC games are the only ones that do that to me, I actually usually enjoy longer games (put in 150 hrs on Skyrim on 360 without in flinching).

In a stroke of wonderfully good luck, Paper Sorcerer came out the day before Might & Magic X dropped.
Paper Sorcerer is scratching that itch well enough that I don't need to buy M&MX. Thus in the end saving me about $20.
Good times, good times. Also Paper Sorcerer is pretty awesomeballs guys. If you like turn based combat in your dungeon crawlers you should give this one a shot. Its pretty fun.

both great games though. I played a bunch of blackguards when I got it during the winter or thanksgiving sale... I think thanksgiving...
big fan
yeah, I'm such a sucker for turn based strategy/RPGs. Blackguards got its full release and final chapter today so that pushed me over the edge into buying it.

I played throug hthe entire AC2 series; Assassins Creed 2, Brotherhood AND Revelations all in a row. Start to finish. Loved it. Jumped int AC3 and stopped after 9 hours or so. That one was so mediocre in t he middling section.

Blackguards is on my wishlist. I'm loving this resurgence of infinity engine-esque games lately.
Disregard. The release version of the game didnt delete the config files from the early release build and it caused the issue. Might and Magic X Legacy!

Oh man, Raptr made a 2013 gaming summary infographic for each of its users. Here's mine. I'm honestly surprised I played so much FTL in 2013; I thought the bulk of my time with that game was spent in 2012. Guess not!
Page special feature of (1/23) Release of "Weekly Famitsu" in (P10 ~ P11), articles of efforts to STEAM Treasure has been published today. STEAM version of "Ikaruga" is the delivery soon! Thank you.
