*I FOUND IT! IT IS TREASURE QUEST!* I was going through the list of games at Old PC Games, and saw a game called "Treasures of the Savage" and then seeing "treasures" made it click for me and "Treasure Quest" came to my mind. Reluctantly, I Googled the name(I mean, could the name be as simple and generic as "Treasure Quest"? hahaha) and the Wiki showed the box art for both the game and the soundtrack CD. Sure enough! The Soundtrack CD's case is mostly blue, so that's why I thought the game's box are would be blue as well... so, good job, Me! Thanks for your help and being available!
There are only a few things I can remember about this PC game. I can't even remember playing it really, which makes me think my computer wasn't up to it's specifications. The things I do remember are:
1. It came with a soundtrack CD with some really good songs that were also clues to the gameplay. There were a lot of female vocals on the tracks of the CD that makes me think the hero in the story of the game was a woman.
2. There was a contest for the person that beat the game first with some kind of money prize or trip of some sort. Maybe both.
3. I believe the box the game shipped in was mainly blue.
4. I believe the game came out around the time Return to Zork came out or maybe later around the time Myst came out. This game was the sort of along the same lines of a quest/puzzle game.
This is all I can remember. I just barely thought of this last night, and some Google searches have not really helped me. I may have come across it in my searches, but nothing seems to be what I remember, especially with the soundtrack aspect added in.
Thanks for your help!
