As a fat guy who feels awkward a lot, I find Whomp! to be accurate a lot of the time, though I'm not as bad as fictional Ronnie is in many departments.

A guy was begging to know why I changed one of my comics. The one where I was "making fun of CAD"
I had an idea of what comic he meant, but I assured him it was just a jab at lazy comics in general, and I definitely didn't change it after the fact. However, he insisted that I made a comic that directly parodied the infamous miscarriage comic of CAD.
Finally, he found the comic and sent it to me as proof of my original vision.
Best part is I'm pretty sure you posted an early version of that one and changed it because you felt it was too direct a parody of a completely different comic.

I remember! I was there when we a less-direct parody was suggested. As usual, the webcomic thread gave excellent advice.
The big needle became my world. It shaped the image of all needles into massive lances, savagely piercing the wounded. The gargantuan needles silently scream ''We are aiding you. Struggle not, lest you damage your veins, and they don't heal very well, you know.''

I can't find an example, but sometimes ronnie's hand positions default to kind of a T-rex thing
