So I can't be the only one that listens to a lot of gaming podcasts at work and I wanted to know what are some of your favorites and to share some of mine. My top 3 are easily
This can be a thread to discuss podcasts and get recommendations on good video game podcasts, but it's not going to be a poll thread or I'm shutting this thing down.
My favorite is The Squadron of Shame, but there haven't been any episodes for a while. (Not sure if it's on a hiatus or no longer or whatever.)
Each episode centers around one game, and the game gets discussed in depth and at length. Some of them are on the shorter side, and some of them run four or so hours long. It's definitely for the type of people who also obsess about minutiae and details of the stories of games.
Rooster Teeth's The Patch has been consistently good. I'm a huge fan of the Giant Bombcast as well. A couple of ones I don't hear about often are The Campaign Round Table, where they discuss game story lines, and The Angry Chicken, one of my new regulars. It's a podcast for Hearthstone, and they've manage to grab the exact combination of people to do it. Dills and Garrett are very smart people who get very deep into the strategy and meta for the game, with Jocelyn thrown in to keep them reined in when they go too far off the deep end.
VGmpire is very strongly hit or miss for me, but that's because of the content. It's a show that does gaming music retrospectives, mixed with the occasional modern stuff thrown in. Highly recommended, but with the caveat that you may end up skipping an episode or three.
Final Score is a very low barrier of entry podcast from the Frogpants guys. I haven't listened at all anymore because it doesn't seem to be a show for the enthusiast; it's more for the casual observer and passersby of gaming. Still, it may be worth your time because the hosts are awesome people, as Frogpants producers tend to be.

Idle Thumbs should probably make its way into the OP. I love the Giant Bomb guys, but Idle Thumbs is really interesting since they talk about the development side so much more.
And I've really been enjoying the Giant Bomb Interview Dumptruck lately. Patrick scores some great guests.
8-4 Play. Ex-EGM members now work on localization right in Japan. Mark "Gaming Jesus" McDonald, Justin 'J.J.' Epperson, John Ricciardi and Hiroko Minamoto bring local and international talk about games and japanese culture. Lots of cool guests and hilarity.
Also, I used to follow the PC Gamer UK podcast but now the editors do it on their spare time at Crate and Crowbar: http://crateandcrowbar.com/. I haven't listened to it in a while.

I think any child of the late 80's or 90's should check out A Life Well Wasted. Supremely well produced, and the first episodes features early and late editors from EGM. Sean Baby remains my favorite commentator. The dude gave a game the rating of "troll on a hotdog" once. Always tickled me.
Because Idle Thumbs is so obviously the most incredible thing to ever happen to podcasts at all, let alone video game podcasts, I won't waste much time in my post talking about how termendously wonderful that podcast is in each and every little way. Because, why bother? It's so clear that there's no reason for me to reiterate it. But yes, Idle Thumbs is really really good.
The second most excellent video game podcast I've listened to is Tone Control, where a BioShock/BioShock 2/Gone Home developer interviews fellow game developers about their careers and their game design philosophies. It's really interesting and compelling.
Giantbomb sucks. Retronauts and 8-4 play are really good, especially the new Retronauts. 8-4 play can get a bit weird when there's no recent Japanese releases.

Giantbomb doesn't suck. It's a great podcast, they just spend half of it talking about non-game-related bullshit.
Idle Thumbs is _so_ hallowed, I can't get into it. I feel like I'm missing out on years of backstory, or something. Same with the CGW/Brodeo, I suppose. Or anything 1UP ever did.
So for me it's basically Giant Bomb and that's it.

Weekend Confirmed, Bombcast, Crate & Crowbar, Gamers with Jobs are all great podcasts.
Sometimes I listen to Idle Thumbs, Eurogamer, and Rooster Teeth stuff as well if I have the time. Spoilt for choice really.
Raising a UK flag I am also partial to One Life Left. It's no Idle Thumbs in terms of gameplay/dev. discussion, but it's amusing, frequently gets quite decent guests, and does a good line in features/music (they play game music and chiptune). It also has pretty decent production values because it's an actual radio show, broadcast on actual (very) local radio here in London.
Oh, and thanks all for the Rooster Teeth recommendation(s) - I've not tried that one!
I used to try to keep up with the PC Gamer podcast, but it has had issues updating RSS of late.
Anyone recommend any PC centric podcasts?
Oh, and if you like comedy and other pop culture with your video game talk, The Indoor Kids is a pretty good listen.
Idle Thumbs is PC centric although of course you must already know that because why someone would be listening to any gaming podcast without first having listened to Idle Thumbs is so unthinkable as to be impossible.
I really like listening to the Super best friend cast. They are mostly focused on fighting games but when there is no fighting news they tend to cover a
broad range of subjects.
So I started listening to Idle Thumbs, and in the past few Idle Thumbs episodes and they mention ObjectiveGameReviews, created by our very own @TychoCelchuuu, IIRC. Of course, they are claiming him as their own. We all know you can only truly be part of one internet message board, so I think Tycho needs to pick a side!
Watch Out For Fireballs! is a pretty nice retro game podcast by hosts Gary Butterfield and Kole Ross. It feels like two normal guys going over games they loved back in the day. They also host other podcasts like Abject Suffering where they try explicitly bad games and Bonfireside Chat, for the Souls series.

Well to be honest the forums over there are better in a lot of ways sooooooo
I've still never listened to Idle Thumbs. Maybe I should start. A lot of people really love that one. On the other hand, I've been looking to cut down on my podcasts lately. I used to drive, on average, about 550 miles a week, but I've cut that down significantly. I was going to cut Weekend Confirmed because I wasn't really enjoying it anymore, but it died on its own before I could. The Geekbox has been pretty annoying for a long time now and I'll probably cut it soon.
Can't see myself unsubscribing from the Giant Bombcast anytime soon, though.

The last one was on Spec Ops: The Line, and it was good.
Some of my favorites center on Persona 3 and Silent Hill 2.

I'm also rather fond of NWR's Radio Trivia Podcast Edition. That's one to check out if you're in to video game music.

Not gonna be dropping there much myself. I already detest Maximilian showing up on my homepage.
