Laptop Driver Issue Driving Me Crazy

I have looked and looked, downloaded all the drivers from the website, tried other help forums. I cannot get the USB 3.0 port to work. Under device manager. SM Bus controler is still unrecognized. Any help would be greatly appreciated! The laptop is an Asus R503u running windows 7 64 bit.
