Refresh: 5 High Concept Aspect: MacLaren Monster Slayer Trouble Aspect: Shoulders the World
Phase One: Where her twin sister Alice was trained to be a Warden by their parents Declan and Aileen, Fiona had only been trained physically when their mother inadvertently soul-gazed Fiona. Seeing the battle-scarred mind of someone she loved twisted Fiona both mentally and emotionally, and she was never able to tap into her magic as a result. Rather than be discouraged by this however, Fiona poured herself into excelling both physically and scholastically. Aspect: Mommy Issues
Phase Two: Fiona graduates from high school valedictorian, and with a dozen sports trophies. But when Alice announces her decision to leave the family proper on their 18th birthday, Fiona chooses to follow her rather than continue a magical tradition that she couldn't be a part of. Before she leaves, Declan MacLaren gives Fiona a magical heirloom and a sword, making her promise to keep herself and her sister safe. Aspect: Unbreakable Bonds
Phase Three (Grand Slam) When Fiona gets a job at the rec center, she discovers that one of the counselors is really a glamoured faerie body-snatching the kids. Fiona sets out to protect the children from the machinations of the courts, but quickly finds herself in over her head when the Summer Knight challenges her to a competition, with the lives of the kids on the line. Aspect: I’m The Best Around
Phase Four (Witchlight) When Alice MacLaren is hired for a defensive sorcery consultation session she suddenly finds herself drawn into a family feud that reaches back into the early days of the New World. Caught between angry witches, even angrier ghosts, and the Boston mob, it falls to Alice to figure out how to give everybody what they want with as little bloodshed as possible.
Fiona gets involved when Alice asks her to safeguard the daughter of a mobster who seems to be the conflux of all the trouble. But when the safehouse is compromised, things become a running battle through the city as Fiona tries to keep the girl alive. Aspect: Gauntlet of the Guardian
Phase Five (Grizzly Affair) When John returns to Boston, he finds it very different from when he left it; as a series of murders erupt in the Boston Commons John is drawn in to investigate. But can he succeed when he finds supernatural predators prowling the dark paths?
Fiona is out at a bar when John, in bear form, crashes through the window followed by something that looks like a cross between a panther and an rhino. Fiona, half plastered, joined in the fight and gave John the edge he needed to defeat the dark spirit. Aspect: Party Girl
