I mean yeah why not lets do this thing.
What's a slowdraft? Well, we draft fantasy baseball teams, slowly, here on the forums, and we make fun of eachothers terrible picks as they happen because lets face it we are bad at this. We've been doing this for years.
We'll PROBABLY have some open slots but returning managers get first crack at it. If you are a returning manager you should have got an email invite. If you haven't, pm me your email address.
If you are new and want to sign up, send me a PM with your email address. In a few days we'll go through and see if we've filled the league and if not, I'll send emails out to the new people that made it.
Requirements:
A yahoo account.
Willingness to give me your email address.
The ability to post here once per day for the next month or so. We need to get through this thing pretty quick.

I'd be totally ok for an NL only league, of course.
Last year we finished the draft by getting together at the end and drafting liveish in google docs, which worked out well, but obvs the sooner we start the more fun it is for everyone!
The only order in the draft is the order in which the owners pick. When it is your turn you can take any player you want, any position, batter, pitcher, whatever.
If you're really new you can find tons of beginner's guide around. Here's just a general site with some shortish articles about the basics. Any other questions you might have we'd be happy to answer if you want to join.

Yeah, it's totally cool to learn as you go, and we can definitely help you out!
We do draft specific positions, so you want to draft the best players available, while thinking about which positions you still need to fill, but it's not too tough.
