Wireless problems

Basically, the problem is that my laptop is having trouble connecting to wireless networks. I have absolutely no idea why this is, because it worked this fine until a few days ago. The problems I'm having is weird, because sometimes the computer will connect to the network and then disconnect a small time later.
This is the laptop I have.
The reason I believe the problem is with the computer and not the network is because it happens both at school and at home, and that others are able to connect without problems.

I have no idea what to do and hope anyone can hep.

Is there really noone that can help me in any way with this, or have ideas about what to try? It is really annoying not having my wireless working.

    Sir, madame, or mister roboto,

You have given us unsatisfactory information to truly solve your problem. It is as though you were to say "my car suddenly stopped working so well", then merely told us what model vehicle it is. With such little information, solving your dilemma is difficult as best, impossible at worst.

    Sincerely,
    Me.

In what way is it not connecting to wireless networks? Does it connect and nothing happens? Are you getting error messages? What program, if any, are you using to connect?

Try updating the drivers through your laptop manufacturer's web site.

It is no easy task winning a 1v3. You must jump many a hurdle, bettering three armies, the smallest.

Aye, no mere man may win an uphill battle against thrice your men, it takes a courageous heart and will that makes steel look like copper. When you are that, then, and only then, may you win a 1v3.

Okay, Im going to piggy back this thread. My WEP encryption isn't working. Well, that's not true. I can WEP encrypt the network just fine - but as soon as I do, the internet connection just stops working.

I'm using a Linksys WTR54G, if I'm recalling the string of letter and numbers correctly. The wireless network and internet connection will be working normally. I then enable the encryption, and I can hook up to the network just fine, but I have no internet access at all. Anyone know what the problem is?
