[PA Comic] Friday, February 21, 2014 - Kwisatz Haderach
There aren't "like" buttons directly on any of the comics for the website. They do get posted on facebook though, on the official PA facebook page, so if you have a burning desire to press a "like" button, that avenue is available to you.

Some dreadful wording on that card.
The wording in the comic is great, though.

Very fitting title, big Dune fan here Though to be fair it dragged on for too long (the original Trilogy was bettar)
Also enjoyed the Titanfall strips, that game looks like a ton of fun!
I love this comic. We have sons that are very close in age and my son did this same thing while we were heading into a movie. I was soooo impressed, and what was better another dad totally heard and looked at me while nodding his head. Dad props.
My son's only half the age of Gabe, but I'm going through similar awesome dad-times playing through the Lego games with him. The feeling I get when he chooses the correct character that has the specific ability required to progress through a level is something I just don't think my wife will ever understand.
Those gorram kids and their darned modern slang. Can anyone speak without all the "cool"s and "like"s and "hip"s and "dog"s anymore?! Webster weeps.
There's a bit of a difference. I say "like" too often, but it's a place holder in a sentence, not the point of the sentence itself.
Once it settles into its own little corner of the languange and I don't hear it or read it every day I'll be fine. At the moment though it's the flavor of the month and I'm tired of its overuse.
Seeing it twice in short succession on here pushed me over the edge.

Literally what I had in mind for how to teach my kids basic algebra. Make math fun.
@gabe, you should really have your son check out hearthstone if you/he haven't/hasn't already. It's all the fun of online cardgaming, minus the ability of either party to send horrific language back and forth.
That doesn't point to Mike's profile so he won't see it. Plus I guarantee they know about Hearthstone. And the truly dedicated can use the interactive nature of the gaming board plus morse code to send some truly vulgar dots and dashes.

Hey, don't be hating on God Emperor of Dune. Basically,it's Richard III in the Dune universe.
Anyway, cool comic. If only there was a card game that made the math that comes later more palatable to a young audience. Algebra and geometry can be enjoyable, like sudoku, because they're puzzles that make sense and everything just falls into place. Then you get into calculus and the physical universe bares its teeth.

I liked math at that age, so I didn't need its presence in games obscured in order to enjoy them.
The negative attitude people have towards math is something I regard between puzzlement.
I don't have a negative attitude towards math, but it certainly is not one of my strongest subjects.
Either way, as a fairly serious MTG player, this comic hit me right in the feels. Especially since I'm currently playing a red devotion deck. Fanatic of Mogis FTW.

Something I have to express though.
From a newspost earlier this week:
"Even if I don’t grab a specific bundle, I always watch the video which accompanies the bundle. It’s, like… a thing."
And from 12 hrs ago:
"I really liked this one. I’m starting to wonder if it should be a thing."
Can anyone communicate without this "A Thing" crutch anymore? It annoys me so much how overused it is.
/Rant over.
I just started Dune yesterday and read about Kwisatz Haderach this morning, so the timing of the title of this comic was incredible.
Reading Dune is totally a thing again.
Well, except for the MY DICK comic.

I'm interested to see if March becomes February, or resets and is normal.

No, it's gonna be January 60th and I'm calling it.
