I'm currently sitting in a house without Internet that my preorder isnt being shipped to, and probably won't be back for a while after our comes. I can't decide if I want to go and pick it up and play it offline or wait.

Fought and killed Maneater Madlin or whatever her name is. Got the butcher knife. Nifty.
you can summon her for the queelag fight and she has hells of fire resistance

Weapons with over head slashes or aimed magic/ranged attacks make it so you can permanently stun her very easily.
Stay on her right side, the sword arc will miss you
The lava is pretty easy to avoid
The big explosion is hard, but it has a long tell for when it goes off
also the entire reason you can summon and be summoned is time travel.

If you have an opening and you're pounding on her, just watch for her to slump forward. that's the cue to back up.
Mildred just seems to make the fight harder for me because Queelag's one of those bosses you have to stay close to in order to avoid getting hit.
