The folks at MAGFest once again return to PAX East to give you a full weekend of music EXPLOSIONS OF AWESOMENESS. Can't get enough of the concerts on the main stage? Well the Jamspace features bands, chiptunes, DJs, and open mic jamming (with provided instruments, or bring your own) all weekend! Who in the ever loving shit is MAGFest?
We're a non-profit organization dedicated to holding events that further the appreciation of video game music, and gaming of all types. Our flagship event, also known as MAGFest (short for Music And Gaming Festival), happens every January just outside Washington, D.C., and we also hold other events like the Baltimore's summer video game music event Bit Gen Gamer Fest, and Jamspace rooms at events like PAX!
Man I loved brentalfloss and megaran at the 2012 one, keep hoping they'd return. Maybe next time. Also would be great if you could get NSP to make an appearance some year. I know they were at MAG fest but I can only really afford one big vacation a year. I will probably come hang out some point over the weekend
MIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIKE. Bring metal slug to the ACAM room, and I'll make sure no one is able to beat my high score.
Nick, we aren't taking the "Keith Apicary" NeoGeo out of the museum, but I think we could bring our spare. We took it to PAX-East either last year or the year before. I seem to recall a lot of people playing it.
If you will be in town Thursday night, you should join us at a watering hole once we get the arcade set up.

Woo Jamspace!
We'll definitely be in there for a good chunk of the weekend.
Also I'm currently in talks with 8bitx to look into streaming options for the live performances. I'll post details on that if and when we get things set in stone.
Hey Nick, Seth here. You're not going to have a projector and router in there are you? I can bring enough laptops to host some Artemis games.....
Hi seth! Now that you mention it, there most likely WILL be a projector! When you say router, do you actually need internet access, or do you just need an ethernet switch.
I'm planning on bringing my electric violin again, had a great time last year playing with people. Probably bring a few FX as well just to shake things up.

The convention center itself I think officially closes at 1am, so we'll keep the party going as long as we can.

@PurpleBek Megaran will be doing a show in boston on 4/14. not as convenient as Jamspace but it might be an option.

Wasn't Hoodie running that? I haven't heard any mention of it for this year either way so I doubt it's happening.
Actually it was being run by Boston 8bit and there IS a chipspace this year following the chipmusic in the jamspace.
Pete will be there !
What a relief! I was getting worried by the lack of info.
