If anyone is disappointed that they missed out on registration, but still want to be a part of the crawl, volunteering might be for you! It's not a huge time commitment, you just probably wouldn't be doing the challenge parts of the event. You can still drink, and you'd be a great resource for trainers who can't find partners in the bars.
Volunteering mainly involves signing off that people completed challenges, herding a group of drunk cats from bar to bar, helping with the auctions to raise money for the charity, and directing people in the direction of your professor for check in. It's pretty easy, just take the lead from your designated professor on what they'd like you to do, and don't lose any trainers. You need to be at the first bar on time at 7:15pm, and preferably stay till 12:30 or so at the last bar.
We're currently looking for volunteers for team Yellow-White. Once we find some for that team, we will also be accepting volunteers for Red-White, Red-Black, and Blue-White.
Anyone interested?

As far as volunteering, there would still be someone else at the bar 'in charge' of stuff, right? I didn't even try to sign up for this, since I'm going to be coming for my first PAX, and I'm not much of a drinker, but I would probably be down for helping out.
Augh, I lost out on tickets ;_; this sucks! If myself and my boyfriend want to come, that's one ticket only, right? One ticket with a +1? Or, do we need two tickets? I'll be refreshing the page often to check for more. If anyone has a spare please let me know!

You would need two tickets. The +1 counts as a second ticket.

Yes, you'd be helping out the person in charge of running the team. I'll message you with more info.

That wasnt easy! Had a few friends all coordinating to get on Blue Black and we lucked out. Had to send an email to cancel some Red Black tickets when we thought we'd have to switch teams. Hopefully someone can grab hose up.

I'm interested in volunteering for any team. I tend not to drink a bunch (or at all) on pubcrawls; I just like to socialize.
If anyone on the Green-Black team are looking to get on the Green-White team I have two tickets to Green-White and Im willing to trade We have two friends who would like to join us on Green-black but will go with green-white if there's no trade hehe.
Damnation! I was running a work event Friday and got so wrapped up in it (And, to be honest, trashed AFTER the event) I totally forgot about registration. I shall now commence the constant refreshing of the eventbrite page.
Does anyone recall which bar last year had the kareoke? I'm curious if we'll be returning to it this year. If so, my +1 has something planned (and won't tell me what), which scares me.
Damn, wasn't paying enough attention, apparently. Volunteered with the Hufflepuff crew at Prime this year (I had the kilt), would be happy to volunteer for any of the crews for the Pokecrawl.

I love it when a crawl comes together. Pokemon masters, start training your livers now. Too bad they can't mega evolve... the kidneys are the only organs that get stones.
We weren't able to get all on the same team for the first time since the crawl started. Instead of just going against the theme and all huddling with whatever team we'd like regardless of tickets we're wondering if two people on Green/Black would be willing to trade for two Green/Whites?
Several of my friends were able to get on Green-White, but I missed out on a ticket since I was working (unfortunately, I was the odd woman out and couldn't be someone's +1). I've been asking around outside of the forums, but I haven't had any luck so far:
If anyone on Green-White comes up with a spare ticket I could have I would really appreciate it!
Last year I made laser-cut medallions for Team Blue/Gold. This year I'm thinking of making medallions for all teams and making it a kinda-sorta-official thing (as in I would give them to the professors to distribute before everything starts). I would sell them on a name-your-price basis, keep the cost of materials, and donate the rest to Child's Play. Last year this came out to $148, and that was with only one-eighth of the participants. What does everyone think?
(For reference, here is what the medallions looked like last year.)

My questions would be around what is the cost per medallion and how many do you plan to make for each team. There could be quite a bit of upfront cost associated with it and with a pay-what-you-want model there is the potential to not get that money back. What is the actual cost per item once its completed to actually have a donation left over?

Another concern is how do you get the medallions to each team. If you are Blue-Black, how do you plan on getting the medallions to the other Black teams? I guess you can pass all the medallions of one color to the White professor to get to the Black team at the last bar.

I would absolutely buy a medallion on the crawl. But then again, that might just be me, this tends to sum up my crawl experience from last year:
