    That's a lovely pin. Rather whimsical.

    I think it probably is gold. It looks like the outline on the Lookouts pins on the official page. I do like the gold; my only problem is that it seems to retain oil marks more than the silver outline pins. I can get my fingers all over the silver pins without visible marks, but the Lookouts pins on my lanyard pick up fingerprints quickly and noticeably.
