This is my first time doin' my duty. I've been called twice before but was able to weasel my way out due to school. Shitty timing aside, I'm sort of excited; maybe it'll be a high-profile murder case and I'll get to write a book afterwards! Or maybe it'll be something lame and I'll spend five hours sitting around before they decide I can go. But hey, at least I'll get paid.. what, five dollars an hour?
Anybody got any cool jury duty stories? Sit in on any sweet murders? Better yet, anybody been to trial for any sweet murders? How was your jury?
