well, you'd probably want to
if you wait to free dusk until after getting the broken pendant, it's kind of a letdown to have part of the hook for the dlc be "go rescue this person you just rescued from a different kidnapper literally two minutes ago"
I've nicknamed the punch backstab "The Proctology Exam". Yes, I know you hit a little higher, but let me keep being twelve, for this.
It wasn't something unique, was it?
He's relocated to Firelink (sort of), just like almost every other NPC you've met so far.
I'm having trouble thinking who that might be.

Still staring at the sun
That can't be right.
Didn't you see him at that Anor Londo bonfire?
I just found him by the Sunlight Altar
Staring at the Sun
Carry on.
...Frampt?
And has anyone else noticed that the big hammer dudes in Earthen Peak have a dark sign on their shoulder just like the PC does when he or she is hollowed? Do any of the other hollowed enemies have the same condition? It makes sense but I never actually noticed it until now.
The emerald lady said it best: "Not all Undead are Hollows, but all Hollows were once Undead."
The subtle little touches that reinforce the lore are probably my favourite thing about this series, you're usually too busy trying not to die to notice a lot of it but when you do it's really cool. It never feels like there's anything that's been put in "just because".
Nooooooooooooo

I really don't like that sodding room with the four sickle guys in it. Two's bad enough, but four?!

Even with his hilarious gimmick
Beat the lost sinner and revived strait.
Spiked club was sadly underwhelming.
It gets better with an upgrade or two.

You can't really, when the enemy takes enough bleed "damage" they'll just lose a big chunk of health.
In my experience most enemies die way before bleeding has a chance to build up.
Let me rephrase, fighting Havel and a friend of Havels when surrounded by pits is hard.
Take into account Ive played a lot of Demon Souls and i started off as a Wanderer.
If you have recommendations, like start this or this class, have at it, Im not far enough along that i wouldnt mind starting over.
Pick what you want to do and tailor your build toward that. A specialized fighter is going to be way more effective than a generalized one.
I don't know if that was true in Demon's Souls but it's super true here.
